Agree with you Yorkie - the pub is a place for pub chat - which may include "light" politics but probably a lengthier discussion should be on another thread. I had considered starting an EU Referendum thread but am rather frightened that it would meet with the disapproval of those who do not like non football issues here

Morning all, back from the doctors as it was Mmes. six monthly check up day. She forgot that she needed some pills before today, so popped into the pharmacy with her old prescription on Friday stating she had an appointment for today. She was given the pills and did not have to pay until today. A very civilized arrangement with a local business. Chains of pharmacies are not allowed here, so if you have need of them on regular basis it is good to know who is behind the counter.
