What can you say except I hope it snows from tonight until next Saturday In Liverpool. Lets hope we have a new manager in charge by then.
We will be slaughtered, and any so-called confidence boost from todays game as Monk would have us believe will be obliterated next week at Anfield, the Kop will be doing cartwheels........................
My starting line up against Liverpool: -----------------------------Nordfelt – Fabianski – Tremmel------------------------------------- Amat – Taylor – Williams – Tabanou – Rangel – Naughton – Bartley – Fernandez
Best just to give the three points to them without turning up (much like the last three months) and save us all the embarrassing spectacle of getting hammered. This is like deja vu with Laudrup`s last days in charge. I hope the shareholders are rubbing their hands with glee at the prospect of Championship football next season. No Sky to worry about, most games on a Saturday afternoon, not being ridiculed on match of the day and a derby against Cardiff, oh joy. Whether Monk has lost the dressing room or not, these players are getting a shed load of money and should at least try and make it look like they are doing their best. Edit: Just had a brainstorm and realised that we are going to win by the odd goal in fifteen.
I was never in favour of Monks appointment but in fairness to him he's done a good job upto the last 8 matches so. We are now in a very sticky patch but I'm confident we'll come through it and finish the season in mid table which would be a creditable achievement. There is no reason why we can't go to Anfield next week and get a result. We have a quality squad of players who are low on cofiedence at the moment but the tide will turn, and I predict at least a draw next weekend and possibly sneak a win.
I am confident we will come through it also Kiff, when we sack the manager and employ someone to move us on. As for it only being bad the last 8 games, you must have slept through a few Sbulb.
I truly hope your right , law of average says we should start getting some sort of relief , we do have the players to get results , we just lack the confidence .
We will come through it one way or the other, you can be sure of that, Huw Jenkins will hasn't failed yet............
