The loss is bad but potentially the really bad news from this game is if we lose Coquelin for a long period of time and in that case, we might as well forget our title chances, his replacements are dross. We all knew that not buying another DM was moronic.

Hope Wenger has to get the cheque book out in Jamuary and buys a DM

He will probably buy another attacking mid because you only scored 1 today :emoticon-0100-smile

Missed the game today as I was trading late night. Sounds like we were unlucky with hitting the woodwork, missing a sitter and a pen. But poor defending ?? and ****ing terrible injury news by the sounds of it if Coq is out for a while <grr>

I've only seen it once but I think he pointed to a free kick to WBA as Cazorla took a double touch on the penalty.

It is notoriously difficult to buy in January. .. clubs are reluctant to weaken themselves so unless you pay way over the odds AND a player kicks up a fuss it'll be difficult to buy a ready made player for the first team

Watched the game on MOTD, thought we were a bit unlucky not to grab an equaliser. On another day we could have won it too. I didn't think we played too badly overall although the defending for the OG was poor.

Worst part about it is losing coquelin. Personally I'd play flamini ahead of arteta as although he's probably not technically as good, I think flamini offers more bite at DM and will actually defend. Plus we all know he's got a goal or two in him.

It will be a breath of fresh air to get Ramsey and Ox back this week.

Also just watched on MOTD this morning. Difficult to judge on highlights but should have expected a physical game from a Pulis side. We looked a bit disorganised but worst thing was Coquelin injury. Was always going to happen just a matter of time. Don't see Arteta as replacement - way past sell by date. Flamini has more energy. Fed up. Looks like another "nearly season" at the moment.

Arteta should never play for this club again.

Your reactionary style of fandom is pathetic. Very plastic. Very embarrassing for the other Gooners.

It's not reactionary based on one game, I've been saying it for a while, and yesterday just showed how far Arteta has fallen. You will also find that most other Arsenal fans agree that Arteta is not good enough for this club. Now go cry about being offended.

At the start of the season you were keen on Arteta. Based on a handful of poor games you never want to see him appear on your internet stream again. You're an awful fan, the worst kind imaginable. You contribute nothing but negativity to the club and the fanbase. No wonder so many of the Gooners think you're a colossal bell end.

I was never keen on Arteta, I have always been saying he is a weak link, it's not based on a 'handful' of bad games, he was poor last season and then got a long term injury, he's been poor this season as well and continues to get injuries every week. He has no place in this side, and again, most Arsenal fans agree on that. You're just butthurt and trying to create drama on here because I've caused you much pain on the other thread. Go cry.

You've praised Arteta as recently as the start of this season. The next time he has a decent game you'll be on your knees begging for it. Classic Internet stream plastic fan behaviour.

I took no pain from you having the piss taken out of you by multiple posters! It was very funny though! Is there another poster who is as mocked as much as you are, even by fellow fans?!

Yeah sure I did. You think you're going to get to me don't you? By lying and trying every other tactic in the book, just because you're butthurt along with your other girlfriends because of how badly I've spanked you all on the other thread.

I like arteta, but he is too slow for Arsenal these days and he's also a bit lightweight for that DM role.

Flamini isn't lightening quick either but he's got more bite and presence and gives every game 100% blood and guts commitment.
