Sakho's twin? why did you say that? Because he's big and black?

Obviously, and that is something I've said several times myself, but that player can't then be the one who gives the ball away and lacking in consistency which, for me, he does.

That's ok then - running around for 90 mins compensates breaking down attacks with his poor passing and decision making.

6 conceded in 8.. much better ratio

12 scored in 8.. much better ratio

15 points from 24.. (just pretend the cup game is worth 3 points) again much better ratio.

Overall, can't complain. Heading in right direction.

Nope (are you racist?), because he is Sakho`s main challenger for the French national team and they are both like Bambi on ice and a calamity waiting to happen.

Harsh on Clyne. Don't think he did anything wrong... didn't offer much going forward but didn't need to. Seemed the plan was let the front 3 and Can do the attacking and let the defenders defend first ant foremost.

Milner was good, didn't do anything fancy but was a solid performer. Offered good protection to the back and set the tone with his energy <ok>

No surprises that Firm/Cout/Can were great and the rest were **** eh Jimmy <whistle>

No mention for Lallana who complimented Cout and Firmino well? No mention for Skrtel and Lovren who bar 1 mistake for Aguero's goal, were solid and offered City nothing?

My view, if him being in the team allows Cout/Firmino/Lallana the freedom to attack and press in the way they did then he can start every game.

You can't have a team of superstars and not everyone can score and assist every game... but if you have a player who does the dirty and hard work which allows others to flourish than that's just as important.

Milner's never going to look as good on the pitch as other players with more flair, but his contribution can be just as important.

Klopp will play him again and again because he can be relied on to be that solid player that allows others to do what they do best. And if Klopp thinks he's the perfect player to supplement the others then who are we to argue? #IKWT

I was wondering who the (new) quality around Coutinho was that made him look so much better, pretty sure he has played with Firmino and Lallana before.

And it just so happens that game you highlighted red was the game Klopp wore a baseball cap.

There is something we can learn from that.

I have watched United over many, many years. If I take the Fergie years as an example (more people will remember them), then our team had lots of "mediocre" players at any given time, the thing is, they all carried out "their job" in the team and it worked.

Please don't insult my intelligence by going with the 'you can't have a team of superstars' routine because I've said the exact same thing repeatedly in my time on this board. It's also quite patronising to assume that I can't see that you need different styles of player in a team and I've never claimed otherwise. I'm simply pointing out that moves break down with him for whatever reason and that he should move to a rotation role when injured players (read, Henderson) become available and fit. Right now, he is NOT that solid player because he gives the ball away.

I thought he was brilliant at City, but so far he's been a disappointment. I think he's fortunate that there's not much competition.

Maybe the players around him? (not the ability, just the understanding).

Think you need to have a re read of my post. Not insulting anyone's intelligence or patronising you...

simply offering my opinion on him and how he fits into the current set up, something which you did in yours.

Klopp needs to sort us out at home.

Liverpool have scored as many goals in their last two away Premier League games (7) as they managed in their 11 before that

Rodgers' first eight games against the 'big four'

    Liverpool 2-2 Man City
    Drew
    Liverpool 0-2 Arsenal
    Lost
    Liverpool 1-2 Man Utd
    Lost
    Chelsea 1-1 Liverpool
    Drew
    Man Utd 2-1 Liverpool
    Lost
    Arsenal 2-2 Liverpool
    Drew
    Man City 2-2 Liverpool
    Drew
    Liverpool 2-2 Chelsea

Not sure I ever said the rest of the team were sh*t?

Just saying that the three best performers were Coutinho, Firmino and Can. Lallana did play well and did his part but Coutinho and Firmino were the match winners.

And going back to the whole 'not everyone can be a superstar' argument - Lallana fits that well. He's not top class but he fits our style of play to some degree. Milner just works hard and offers nothing else. The fact that the ONLY positive attribute fans can talk about is his work rate is telling - we're paying the guy £160k a week! Surely you want more for that money?

But anyways - you can continue to focus on those minor criticisms I made rather than the praise I had for our attack and the almost perfect away performance.

Funny that - Can, Lallana, Coutinho and Firmino seemed have the players and score 4 goals in the process.
