Hey. My prediction was right. That's frightening.
Sadly, two wins change nothing for me, as far as Carole and KM go. But that is a nice win, and I like beating the Brummies, so I'm very happy tonight. What sort of contracts do Lookman and Holmes-Dennis have? Time for an upgrade.

I listened to the Radio London commentary. THD was described by the summariser as a two-footed player. This is a great compliment to him, as he is a natural leftie, and it means that he must have practised a helluva lot with his right, which shows a great attitude.

Holmes-Dennis signed a contract extension in September, it runs out in 2018.
Lookman's contract runs out next summer, he can start talking to foreign clubs in January and domestic clubs around April/May.
Old Roly will be gutted if he doesn't sign a new one, he won't be able to sell him on.

Well done,Ken. The only one to keep the faith. The trouble is, I am not sure if our current renaissance is in our longer-term interests or not. Same as I am not sure whether Lookman is being readied for the first team or the shop window.

Sadly agree B+M. These little surges in the results have happened for Luzon, Peeters and Riga, and the fact we keep changing shows the manager recruitment does' nt work.
The board are now painted into a corner. If they sack Carole, and the replacement does'nt work out, they look daft for changing manager after two good wins. But the interim label looks deservedly foolish. And the idea that the best man for the job was hidden in the lowrr half of the Belgian third tier is just daft.
I'm happy this morning, but Royston's phrase about papering over the cracks rings true. The whole model at the club is wrong.

    Beware the Dead Cat Bounce.

The identical thing happened with our last 3 Interim Managers.

RD must be delighted about Lookman & THD's break through - that's next summers windfall sorted.

Great result yesterday, the players and to be fair Fraeye, Euell have turned our results around and they deserve some credit. The players are playing for the new management. Do I want Meire and Roland gone , yes. But if the management keep on producing results I am happy to see them appointed permanently.
    It is a results business.
Be prepared for a bit of loan transfer action before the closing of the transfer window on Thursday.

    We won?

I told you all that Fraeye was the mastermind behind riga, and that he would get us back on track. I... Definitely told you that...

Seriously, I'm very happy for JJ more than anyone. He was candid when he spoke about Luzon not playing him, but he didn't sound like he ever doubted himself. A testament to the man.

Without looking - what's the attitude of the fans now? Are the protests going to continue next week?

Across social media people seem pleased to be winning but are still rightly suspicious of our owner. They seem to be less easily convinced than when Luzon took over. I think everyone is sick of the lies and the unwarranted smugness.

I know you've been telling us that he will sign a pro contract soon, and I hope you're right. However the spectre of Poyet will loom large if this doesn't happen soon.................................

I hope so. It was never about the players, but the incompetence of the owners/management.

But let's savour back to back victories today. A clean sheet too!
