Match Day Thread Swans v Bournemouth

Since the end of August ( 10 games including a Cup game ) , we've had one player score from open play , with basically the same 10 players starting , seriously depressing.

 

30% for the comeback, 20% for the play over all 0% for monk and jenkins the ballsless !
We missed a trick not getting someone in before the internationals break ended, If we are any more unlucky then that could be the last chance we had to save our prem spot ? No likey No happy clappy !

 

Yes but the wrong ones imo , Bartley instead of Federico , when Williams is struggling and Amat is miles in front of Bartley . Ader who's managed a 30 minutes in total all season excluding the cup games. Siiggy who would have stopped Bournemouth centre halts playing the ball out which they did with consummate ease for most of the game .Ki who just came back Thursday from international duty , you'd have sworn Shelvey had just travelled half way around the world considering how lethargic he was. Cork can't get a kick anymore so it would seem but in fairness who ever would have been out there today I think we'd have seen the same .

Shelvey got 5th yellow today i think so misses liverpool dont know if thats a good or bad thing ?

Of course it was a penalty , he clipped our player's leg on to his other leg .
Could have been called last man back also

 

MOTD showed there was contact that effected Ayew's motion and fall, wasn't deliberate in my view and a tad harsh, but a legitimate penalty none the less…………….

Well I got up this morning and I see he is still in charge. I was hoping to see the yellow bar going across the Sky news channel. Come on HJ get a move on.

 

Bartley played a part in both Bournemouth goals .
The first goal , he carelessly tried to hoof the ball forward and bounced it off our player and basically jogged back leaving their man open to score .
The second goal he retreated ialmost to the goal line leaving the goal scorer an open goal .
To make that many non defensive changes required the usual defensive set up be left intact.
Poor management of changes to say the least.
Monk and the team better get their sh: t together if we are to stay out of the relegation spots by the New Year.
Come on boys , FOCUS on the task at hand , we are in a dire position .
We have the players , we just don't have the team .....or spirit that Garry says we do .
P.S.....In a 5 and a half minute post game interview yesterday , Monk mentions coming back (from 2 goals ) down 9 times , .....spirit 5 times.....fan pressure 3 times.......

 

He's started to spout the same bollocks as Brendan the past few interviews.

 

Thankfully that will never happen..........

 

The only reason I would like to see this happen , is to watch Tan freak out ..lol
