The day i get banned from their board it will stop being banter.

Some strange reason i have got away with murder on their board.

Yes ive had warnings. But they like us, like a bit of friction.

CC already calling for me to be banned. He is insignificant, ****ing minnion.

Just watching MOTD now with Shearer on - just put it on so not seen their game yet! Neither of us have anything to laugh at really but 1 shot on target in 2 games is far worse than we have played all season! (Although the BBC said a shot on target yesterday but the only one I saw was cleared by the defender - and in all other games they don't count as a shot on target!)

Oh and Liverpool are going to win the league next season cos they hammered Man City who looked defensively like we did against Everton!

Lineker to Shearer "You were very grumpy this afternoon understandably........ I wasn't.... Moving on to...." Class!!

Shots on target blocked by defenders always count as shots on target.

Shearer is an assett to this region, of course he is a Mag through and through, but I think he speaks well and honestly about both of our clubs on MoD. I just hope he is still talking about them both next season.

First time in a long while that I haven't posted after a match for no other reason than I just really didn't want to. Our worst performance for a long time and there was no silver lining. I expected a tight game (not low scoring but at least in the balance) and wouldn't have been at all surprised to see us lose but to not compete is disgusting. I'm never a fan of booing your own team but after that I can fully understand it, they have to be left in no doubt that their performance was not in any way acceptable.

Counting down the days until the respite of the next international break.

Think Shearer came across alright really, I've not heard him say much on MotD regarding either of our teams which I didn't think was fair enough. If anything he's harsher than Newcastle than most but it's generally warranted.

Shearer's fair, but dull. He has improved since his earlier impressions of two short planks, though...

But you lot said we only had three on target. Cattermole hit a shot on target which was blocked by Colback at 0-0 and it didn't go down as a shot on target. They never do in any statistic. Only saved shots count as "on target"

Not sure on this to be fair. My opinion (and it is just my feeling on the matter) is that a shot blocked by an outfield player within the 6 yard box would be a shot on target but that one outside the box wouldn't count (otherwise there could be tons), Within the box but not the 6 yards box, probably not either - maybe if they were effectively the last man/ last line of defence as the shot had beaten the keeper?

This is not a reflection of where I think the figures come from as I always thought different sites and pundit gave slightly different numbers as their views differ on this subject too. May well be wrong though.

More to the point Leicester scored 3, your lot scored 3 and we scored nothing. Two very different games as Leicester totally outplayed us across the park and I feel it isn't that controversial to say your boys really didn't but the results were both pretty bad. That's the second game in a row we've looked ****e - and against two of the three teams I expected to be near the bottom come May. Ah crap.

I wish you wouldn't use phrases like "you lot" when you're addressing me individually, as I can assure you I never said anything of the sort. <ok>
If a ball is travelling for long enoug to be certain that it's on target, it goes as a shot on target whether the keeper saves it or not. If it is blocked half a yard away from where it was kicked then obviously you can't be sure it was going on target.

We had 2 cleared off the line last season and got slated for having none on target in a game by the bbc by the way! But I agree with your opinion for exactly that reason.
