What an amazing result for Liverpool. They have now destroyed Chelsea and Liverpool away from home. I surely didn't see that coming.
The Chelsea result was nothing special (lots of teams have beat them), the City result was very unexpected though.
Their attacking play was excellent in the first half. City's defending was horrendous. If they lose Kompany for a sustained spell then they are ****ed as the other options are laughably ****. Toure was hauled off at half time having put in a half arsed performance. Fantastic player when he's in the mood but that's increasingly rare.
The result was down to Klopp, fair play to him. He took the game to City and exposed them like any good attacking team has this season. I'm not surprised by a Liverpool win. Rodgers would probably have had Firmino on the bench today. Their defence, even with Kompany imo, is suspect. His positional play is poor. I think Otamendi is class though. Navas has been such a disappointed. Really liked him at Sevilla but he just hasn't cut it in the prem. Toure truly has turned to w@nk. No heart for the club he plays for, only for himself.
