Well we did lose today and I felt very frustrated as we should have converted at least 3 good chances Silvestri not to blame for the goal seems to still need to learn how to distribute a ball Wootton was poor at best Belushi is just a split second away from a booking Cooper played very well and again he coaxed Silvestri and gave him confidence Beradi was stupid getting sent off having taken the full force of Best elbow who nearly got away with it the ref was that bad Mowatt played like he usually does and should have been replaced along with Wootton Cook worked well but got tired whilst Dallas always works well but seemed to lose his cutting edge Murphy poor yet again Ant was not at his best should have scored early in the second half Wood did not again get the proper service its alright fans knocking him but he needs good balls to his feet Botaka needs to learn to shoot but definitely livened things up Adeyemi and Erwin needed more game time I would play the former instead of Wootton all day In all only perhaps Cooper came out well and Rotherham just hung on very disappointing display will not look good for Evans
I think we have mega problems now the team appeared to lack motivation for some reason I wish the ownership issue could be resolved quicky but there seems little hope of that nor do I see 2 loanees coming next week Cooper will play left back and Byram should play right back will Bamba be fit I doubt it so we have to solve the centre back issue I would drop Wootton Murphy and Mowatt for next game
At this moment I am fecked if I know, but it looks to me that at best we have three championship standard players and the rest would struggle in league one. The reason for this is that Cellino is stripping the quality with his wage structure he is creaming more off the top than bates ever did, and we have more debt! He bought a Ferrari and swapped the engine to one from a lada.
4-1 nuff said Matt and another team smashed out of sight. The wall express goes marching on calling next at Fleetwood. 2 defeats in 16 and 9 unbeaten in all competitions at home. Winning the game in hand puts us in the play-offs only 3 points behind 2nd place, we're on fire and the best team on form.
Chippy, as you know I bow to the likes of you that see the team play far more than me but I can't help feeling some talk up our 'youngsters' far too much, they're clearly not ready for a promotion push. We haven't had a sniff of even the top half of the table in years, let alone challenge for a play off place. It's also obvious that Cellino has no idea in spotting a player good enough to get us up so should leave it to the football men. It's been proved by other clubs in the past that you can get promoted on our budget if you have someone in charge that knows what they are doing. Of course I could be knee jerking because I've been drinking all afternoon and the bastards lost again
I make you right. We are going down unless Cellino sells before the January window shuts. Bookmark this.
You and thousands of other Leeds fans... This isn't a dig.... You quite rate Evans (as do a few others) and Rosler wasn't plucked out of nowhere, he should at least be able to spot a poor player so.... Surely you are wondering and asking questions as to why they are continually picked? I ask the same questions and for me the only answer has to be that they are selected under the insistence of Cellino, what other explanation could there be...
Another problem is that for over a decade now, we no longer attract quality signings. We never go head to head with any club to sign anyone. There always nobody's that no one else wants. What we have then get blown out of all proportion abilit wise. Just read the stuff about Byram here and on Twitter. How many decent ok clubs have tried to sign him? None and guess why. You're right about this being mainly a league 1 standard team and so were the last three seasons. It will take an owner willing to splurge many many Mullins on washes and transfers to revitalise the club. Cellino won't but there's nobody else on the horizon who will either. They'll all load the club with loans and more debt cos they won't use their own cash and they're probably right
True, trouble is losing rather than winning is the norm. So if we were winning and had the odd out "of the blue defeat" it would be better than the opposite we seem to have now, the odd wins keeping us out of relegation positions.
