You lot should know a lot about spending vast sums on mediocre players.
    Berbatov £32 million.
    Carrick £18 million.
    Anderson £20 million.
    Jones £20 million.
    Young £18 million.
    De Gea, £18 million.
    Rooney £27 million.
    Ferdinand £29 million.
    Nani £17 million.
You also paid £10 million for Chris Smalling who Roy Hodgson spent £100k on.Rumour has it that Woy had a £100 bet on with Mohammed Al Fayed that he could sign a non league centre back, give him less than 20 games and find some imbecile to spend £10 million on him.Hodgson won the bet.He signed Smalling from Maidstone and got Baconface to pay £10 million for him.

Have you described Young and Jones the players your manager wanted to sign as mediocre? Is so can you confirm that Liverpool only aim to sign mediocre players?

man utd not as strong as chelsea or man city and could very well not make the top 4 this season, liverpool and arsenal may force utd down to 5th place....

There is no evidence to suggest Liverpool put in a bid for either. It was more than likely Liverpool put the feelers out without making a bid to create an auction thus forcing up the price.Clubs do it on a regular basis.Man City did it with Berbatov which resulted in Baconface collecting him at the Airport.

    Hey ho, interesting predictions.
    1. City
    2. Arsenal
    3. Chelsea
    4. United

Though not sure on Chelsea finishing above United.

Wigan will drop, it's been coming for too long.

Would you like salt and vinegar with that chip on your shoulder??

It's about opinion - QPR won the league easily last season and Norwich finished second so logically you would think that QPR would be better placed to stay up.

    I think:

    1. Man Utd
    2. Man City
    3. Chelsea
    4. Arsenal

    18. Wigan
    19. QPR
    20. Norwich (my opinion)

Why do a lot of people think City will win it?

    Without Tevez they will struggle.

Tevez might not go and they look like they're getting Aguero.

Can't see Man U being anywhere outside the top 2, to be honest.

    This!!!

Man Utd out of the top 4 - you having a laugh?? Arsenal only just got into the top 4 and liverpool haven't improved that much with 4 players for £100m and only really Downing that I think will be a great signing - I liked Henderson at SAFC but for 2 thirds of the last season he was terrible and struggled. He's not going to have much impact in the season coming up as I believe he's one for the future

"Aginairr Also if QPR get £15 million for Taarabt then they can buy three or four really good players."..............that's very funny. Flav and Bernie are tighter than a duck's arse in water!!! Plus 40% goes to Spurs, 0% to NW

If he doesn't go it will all depend on how happy he would still be.

Will he be the same player he was last season and the season before?
