Several players missing, players injured during the match, and still 3 points at a difficult ground. Not bad. LVG cannot be faulted can he? Bad day for the snipers
Why would any of our own fans be wummed, unless they didn't want us to do well? All of us are surely happy with a great win
Ahhh so I don't want us to do well? Gotcha. Great attitude. You're the better supporter mate. Congratulations
I don't know why you identified yourself as a sniper Unless you make reference to your all guns blazing post when they equalised. Look, LVG couldn't be faulted today. We should all be happy with a great win
I thought our link up play in and around the box in the first half was some of the best this season. No surprise that happened in Rooney's absence. I know Lingard is flavour of the month and I think he's a decent player who puts in a shift but he lacks quality in my opinion. His final ball / shot is poor far too often. Quite frankly bizarre substitution taking Mata off. Gutted that Herrera got injured. As usual when given time on the pitch he had an impact. Now he will have to get fit and wait for Rooney to get an injury before he can get a place back in the team. It's the cycle that will see him leave the club.
Nah, your comment speaks volumes. You, and many like you on here, equate any criticism of van gaal as someone not wanting United to do well. We should all be jingoistic flag wavers like you. So everything I posted before showing my concerns regarding the back 5 and how poor our full-backs had been (as a result) leading up to that goal doesn't matter then? Unless you're denying the goal was coming? That doesn't mean we weren't playing well ffs. If you read my comments throughout including those at half-time, you'd see that I praised the way we were playing and was hopeful of a win regardless of my concerns. But the fact I criticise LVG for what imo was poor tactics in ONE aspect of the game, to insecure fans somehow means I don't want us to win or that I think we didn't play well. Then you turn up to have a wum and twist it into a fanboy contest. You win mate, well done
You would think United never lost a game when Fergie was in charge. You would also think that United never had 0-0 draws when Scholes was playing. Selective memory. Regardless of what happens at the end of the season, I LOVE THIS TEAM and I love what LVG is building for the future.
Scholes now thinks we can win the league, 8 minutes ago he didn't. A lot has clearly happened in those 8 minutes
Mate you do focus a lot on the negative but I have sussed it. Its one massive reverse jinx. You crafty sod
Mate I call each aspect of a game as I see it. You read through this thread from start to finish and you can see it. I have a much higher opinion of our players than some who feel so defensive about LVG btw.
"I really REALLY want this C*NT out of our club. Can't stand the thick, stubborn coward" So, you think that comment was necessary? It was a stupid and hyperbole on the situation.
Focussing on the negatives is not unusual given some of them are blindingly obvious and hence frustrating. The Rooney issue has got a lot of United fans bashing their heads against walls this season. So has Herrera having to make do with bit part appearances despite being excellent in the majority of games he's played in. However, United have a squad full of quality players assembled at great cost so they will win more than they lose and so anyone expressing an opinion that isn't 100% positive will be "proved wrong" more than they are considered right.
