TBC: I've been up north with a client and not had a chance; usually put them up on my lunch hour. Will complete when I'm home
Date: Saturday, 21st November 2015 Kick Off: 3pm Venue: St Andrews Stadium There seems to be quite a few things going on at our club at the moment; our CEO appears to be busy trying to recapture the faith of the fans with cheap tactics. We have had the fan meeting, that seemed to anger the fans more than it aided their cause. It appears that not even the Man in the High Castle can salvage the beleaguered fans with videos of past victories. We have also seen another player come out and speak against the Roland Duchâtelet regime, which I cannot believe that they were stupid enough to give a player of his calibre away for free. This will no doubt fuel and anger the fans further, which is ultimately culminating to the planned protest against Ipswich Town, next week. From a game perspective, our "longer than an interim coach, but not yet permanent" would be hoping to build on the win against Sheffield Wednesday, which could see us move out of the relegation zone. The Opposition Gary Rowett's men are certainly languishing their time at the moment in the SkyBet Championship, surprising many this season currently sitting in the last play off spots. Birmingham City have no new injury concerns and are bolstered with the return of Jamaican international Clayton Donaldson who scored during the break. The striker is an influential player for the Blues, this season assisting and scoring 11 of their goals. The Blues come off the back of a convincing win 2 - 5 at Fulham, which eventually lead to the departure of Kit Symons. Head To Head Birmingham have lost only one of their last eight league matches against us. The last time we won at St Andrews, it came courtesy of a goal from Dale Stephens during the 2013/2014 season. Before that it would have been a premier league fixture when we last won at St Andrews. Current Form Our current away form leaves a bitter taste in the mouth. The Blues current home form does not adequately display their current standing in the league. It does show that the team can be beaten. Club Updates Line Up I think that contrary to what people think, I don't that Vaz Te will be starting. It would not be justifiable to drop Reza Ghoochannejhad after his outstanding performance against Sheffield Wednesday, unless he's adopted a winger role. I would expect to see a similar line up to Sheffield Wednesday. please log in to view this image League Table & Fixtures Outcome I don't think that we're going to win this one, but I don't think we're going to lose. I believe that it's going to be a 1 - 1 draw, with Reza scoring for us again. #COYR #CORA
Good one, China. I don't think Cousins is fit yet, so we'll probably see the diamond again, with Jacko on the left. I think we'll lose 2-1.
I expect to see: Henderson, Holmes-Dennis, Bauer, Sarr, Fox, Cousins, Diarra, Jackson, Gudmundsson, Ahearne-Grant, Makienok. Subs: Pope, Bergdich, Lennon, Charles-Cook, Lookman, Ghoochanejhad, Vaz Te Reza has been flying all round the world. Very tiring! He and maybe Vaz Te to come on as subs. We will be lucky to get 60 mins out of JBG as well, so maybe Charles-Cook on for him. If we could have kept the XI v the Massives intact, the momentum might just have seen us through to a result. As it is, I expect another surrender. 3-0.
Not too worried about Cousins as we played okay without him. Reza would be great if available, shame he's so famous. As for this, wrong fixture for us. I normally don' t predict, but I'm so jacked off with RD, KM and now Richard Murray, that I will. My heart says 3-0 Birmingham, but I'll go gor a cheeky 1-0 win. Would I put money on that? Would I f**k.
One swallow doesn't make a summer and our away tactics are park everything from minute 1 and hope for a draw so it's 0 0 or 4 0 Birmingham for me
If cousins is fit the he has to move to RB. Looked very comfortable there earlier in the season. I hope it will be a spirited performance, with perhaps more than 2 efforts on goal. It's interesting to note that they do like to counter - so will Fraeye aim to keep it tight and go for another 0-0? 1-0 brum
Agreed. THD did very well there but it's not his position, whereas Cousins has played there a lot for the U-21's. Maybe Cousins will be the new Steve Gritt, who played in every position, including in goal. I'd keep Reza in the team, even if he only manages an hour he's still our best bet.
Good forecasting on my part apart from Lookman starting instead of Ahearne-Grant. Asking a lot of the kid?
From the Twitter feed it seems like we're coming under increasing pressure. Just hope that we can hold out.
