You must be having a laugh.

I never said Germany are bad, just not what they used to be.

    Last 9 games

3 Losses: France (Fr), Ireland (Qua), USA (fr)

    1 draw: Australia (fr)

5 wins: Gibralatar, Georgia, POland and Scraping past Georgia at home and Scotland away .

They also lost to Poland away and drew against the Irish at home previously

Not exactly brilliant stuff, they're conceding more than they used and even though they'll be among the favourites they certainly aren't as unbeatable as they seemed in past few years.

Spain are obviously always going to be capable, just like Brazil and they've done well recently but they've very much relied on their defense, they're not as free flowing as they used to be 3/4 years ago. It's working well so they will probably be favourite but they aren't as convincing in my opinion.

Besides they had one of the easier groups, and before you say "so did England", well that's exactly my point. If people are still being pessimistic about England because we had an easy group, then so can I about Spain.

and Spain beat us in a friendly. People need to make up their mind, if we beat France in a friendly it's because of [...enter excuse] but if Spain beat us in a friendly "we can only hope for quarter finals"

There's another one now, ten gunmen are currently holding 170 people hostage in a Radisson Blu hotel in Mali.

    The ****er's need obliterating.

I particularly liked Putin's recent quote 'to forgive the terrorists is up to God, but to send them (to him) is up to me.'

Putin is still dangerous as **** and not the kind to surrender his true values and suddenly become best buds with the west, I'd still keep a close eye on him but recently he's certainly been scoring some brownie points. He's showing up quite a few of the west's leaders with some actual balls.

But we all knew he had big balls.
