They're supposed to relay them exactly as they were before they arrived, so if they've skipped them, it's going to cost them a few quid.
Prefer that to the way it looks now, at least from distance. It would be quite a sight to see Princes Dock and Queens Gardens full of boats again. Here's another one. http://www.britainfromabove.org.uk/image/epw012818
Nice picture Plum. Yes those were my first thoughts, it'd be nice to see as many ships and boats around as there was in the 20's. I'll embed the photo for you
I believe it was covered over when the town walls were removed to build the dock in 1778 and as far as I'm aware it remained that way until it was uncovered in 1987.
Picture taken in the 1930's showing the removal of Wilberforce monument from its location on Monument Bridge, to be re-erected on Queen's gardens. This was undertaken free of charge by local contractor R 'Bob'Tarran. please log in to view this image
Or some idiot with no grasp of sarcasm. Obviously you haven't read of instances of this sort of thing.
How much better would it be with the water still in the city centre? Loads of nice apartments, bars and restaurants along there would be something else.
I remember playing a 7 a side tournament on there!!! I played the first game but it was that long before we played the next game i was taken off for drinking to much beer.
