    I think we could .

But not with The Allams in charge.

    To many dont like him.

We would need to work with the kids of Hull to make it easy for them to turn up and pay a fiver on the gate and try to reduce prices for those out of work.

Some might argue that it was bigger in the distant past, it was just without the hype of Sky. I'm sure many have gone off football now feeling alienated from the players and the organisation of it.

Anyone suggesting that we would easily sell out a 35k stadium if the prices were reasonable only needs to look at the size of the crowd against Leicester. Pricing for that one was reasonable..

Who cares? Why not list every single game rather than picking one which in your head is indicative of your insular and narrow minded position and yearning to just complain about us at every opportunity?

The Allams don't impact that much.

I agree kids should be encouraged.

I don't agree the unemployed should get special prices. They get enough from society as it is.

Very admirable filey but how would we get the money to pay 10 or 20 million to build an extension?
If you get a mortgage do you want to pay it off as quickly as possible or over 30 years and pay treble the amount borrowed?

    Mr Happy

Single people on benefits get next to nothing...especially under 25s

Dont think it will happen Chaz unless a new mega rich owner bought the ground.

Just think it could be possible with a lot of hard work and a wealthy owner.

The PL's full of wealthy owners mate, none of them offer 5 quid tickets. Liverpools expansion isnt to give cheap tickets to down on their luck Scousers.

When was it bigger? Briefly after the war crowds went up. In those days there weren't many alternate attractions. A lot of the male population worked on a Saturday and went straight to the match. No television eithet. Yet with all the alternatives now, more leisure time and the possibility of see every goal, unlike until, relatively recently, crowds in the top flight are the highest for over 60 years. Football is bigger than ever. Not in the right way and with the right people maybe, but bigger nonetheless.

It's overhyped, outside of the big media interest in the top division I don't think general interest is necessarly on a huge increase. As you say there's plenty of other interests that people can use their money for.

I could pick out plenty more. We had 5,000 paying more to watch a fourth division club playing at Newcastle nearly 20 years ago. You think having less wanting to pay less, and a lot less in real terms,to follow a top of the Championship club is some sort of progress?

If all supporters took either a son , daughter , grandson , grandaughter. nephew , niece with them to games.

We could increase support and maybe get them hooked for life as City Fans.

    Maybe

Crowds in the top flight were the highest last season for over 60 years. The other 3 divisions were the highest for over 50 years, as were the Cup attendances. That is people actually interested enough to pay the exorbitant prices despite all the other things you can spend your money on nowadays, So your statement is in fact incorrect.
