So, none of you have any faith at all in your magnificent new manager to get the best out of the players he has? Lovren plays well with a leader beside him (quite a few professional managers have thought he could understand the basics of defending and have paid money for him on the strength of their knowledge). Balotelli is obviously very talented and just needs a manager who can get the best out of him. Is Klopp good enough to use these players to the best of their abilities?
professional managers maybe, didn't see the word quality managers in there anywhere. who are these managers that have thought he was any good?
I would think all the ones that bought him and played him plus his national managers, you know, professional sorts who get paid lots of money for their knowledge.
Are we adding Klopp to that list since you all think he will fail to use him with the best partner? Pochettino seemed to know how to get the best out of him, mind you he did have a good leader/organiser next to him at Southampton.
Not really, read back. I never said Klopp bought him, I was answering a question about the quality of manager that has picked him to play, it remains to be seen if Klipperty will try him.
If Kolo is still injured we have little choice but to see if JK can get the best out of Lovren. The bits we've seen of him this season have been ok IMO...........let's give him a chance eh
not really considering you quoted it in past tense which is why i wanted to know which managers you was referring to. so you have only come up with pochettini as a manager and bet you never heard of him before he came to england. was really just a lame dig at klopp wasn't it that didn't really work for you!
So Lovren needs his hand holding? I rather buy players who can perform well on their own. Skrtel is another player who needs his hand holding as well.
I agree but you still expect each player to be able to carry their own duties to a high level. The only time he looked remotely comfortable is when he had Gomez next to him, who did not venture forward. We shouldn't be sacrificing one our strong outlets (Moreno) just so we can babysit Lovren by playing a more defense minded full back instead.
