**** that mate, scare the **** out of me. I can't take the kids, it's to much seeing them go on, I'm honestly a wreck.
My 2 girls are like me.... ****in mental.. They go on owt! My lad... Placid, like his mum... Doesn't risk it!! Know what you mean.. I'd rather go on myself than watch the bairns. I wouldn't let them do a bungee... Even tho I've done a couple. I've drawn a line there like!!
All my kids will go on any ride going..I bloody hate them, but sometimes go on them just to show the kids that I'm not scared..
Scared of heights, so rollercoasters really don't interest me too much. I love Space Mountain in EuroDisney, because it's all inside and dark, aside from that... Rita at Alton Towers and Air at Alton Towers are two I enjoyed. The Smiler has just made me want to go on them all even less now though.
Don't listen to the Naysayers mate. Went with our lasses family in the summer and her little sisters (8 and 11) absolutely adored it. The rat may be gone but it's been replaced with a dinosaur themed one that's even better. Still got the creepy sewer walk with the water trickling and metal staircase which just puts the chills up you...and the ride is pitch black with occasional flashes of 3D dinosaurs savaging screaming people Ultimate is still really fun.
Nice one mate, we could be Raven all night long at this rate! I saw them recently, still brilliant after all these years. You a big fan?
I am, pal. I listened to 'Rattus' last week when back in London. An apt album for the underground, much to my amusement. some cracking songs down the years. Good to hear they've still got it, live.
Absolutely, mate, Rattus is my favourite album by them. I've also seen the Damned twice this year, first time at Sunderland Uni they were sensational.
when bands were bands, eh. good job these old boys still know how it's done. reet, this awld git needs all the beauty sleep he can get. Goodbye for now, Toulouse!
Went there in the 1960's on a school outing. I remember the fun fair and helter skelter at South shields, and the boating lake. Seaburn was great as well, the ghost train, roller coaster, big wheel (I went on once and never again) I was only about 8 years old at the time mind, the air gun stand, waltzer, hoopla where you won a gold fish !, you could not get stirred in our house for them. the mini train ride and the small boating lake near the fish shop which is still there. What about Lambton lion park a great day out there, my dad knew the lion tamer who worked there.
