you are right there ellers it is tuppence worth if you look at all the websites in the championship we are second in terms of we get more input than any other team im really shocked that the chelsea or west ham havent gone for it in the prem and its mostly because there is no fun and conjecture on there websites so you two are saying if you want to post you aere too frightened because you might get it wrong i say to both of you that instead of sitting in the south aftrica road stand or the middle of the ellerslie have the courage to actually sit in the magic corner and sing some qpr songs because its actually pathetic that brentford outsing us at there place, I DOUBT WHETHER EITHER OF YOU TWO GUYS HAVE SUNG A QPR SONG IN YOUR LIFE BUT I WISH YOU WELL BECAUSE AT LEAST YOU ARE POSTING ON HERE THATS A START TO REALISEING THAT FOOTBALL IS ALL ABOUT MANAGEMENT AND WITH NEIL WARNOCK WE ARE GOING UP IN TWO SEASONS WITH RAMSEY WE WOULD HAVE SAT IN THIS DIVISION FOR TEN SEASONS OR ARE YOU GUYS GOING TO TELL ME YOU LIKE CRIS RAMSEY AS A MANAGER
Les Ferdinand has denied there is a power struggle between himself and Neil Warnock. Ferdinand told London Evening Standard Sport: “There is no power struggle. When I sat down with the owners at the start of this one [sic], we had a plan for the club. Within that plan there may be two or three managers that come and go because that’s what happens in football. But the club’s plan will always remain and I’m part of it.” So managers may come and go, but Les is safe. I wonder if he believes that, or whether his employment lawyer told him to say it with an eye upon a future redundancy payment
2 points on Ted's post. 1. I have never supported CR because i always thought he was the wrong man for the job. In fact i was quite outspoken and derogatory towards him by calling him 'Benny'. For me it should be NW until end of season. 2. I don't get the singing/loyalty thing either. I am older now and will admit i don't sing like i used to. TBH i can't be bothered to join in to some of those stupid chants that come from RBlock. If a load of 12 yr olds start singing 'stand up if you love Rangers' or 'your Mums your Dad' and it gets frowned upon because i am not singing, then so be it. I have probably been to more games then the lot of those kids put together. Don't ever remember seeing them back in the 80's at away games up North when there was only a few of us. It doesn't make me a better fan than them or them me, so sorry i don't understand what you are trying to say.
Were you at these ones Ellers? 07 Feb 1981 Newcastle United v Queens Park Rangers L 1-0 League Division Two 05 May 1982 Newcastle United v Queens Park Rangers W 0-4 League Division Two First one was miserable, really dull game, second a dream, Stainrod on fire. Not a huge effort from me to get there though, I lived a few miles down the road in those days.
No sadly it was just before my time. My Dad took me to loads of games in the 70's but i was too young to remember most. Then again i was still quite young in 82 but never forget the Clive Allan Goal v Palace and remember all the fighting and horses. I then went to a few games but 86/87 was the season where it really took off. The point of my post was to say that just because you don't sit in RBlock and sing doesn't make you any worse a fan. I remember one game away last season when some kids, no more than 16/17 were behind me moaning about us fans in front that were not singing and kept telling us to sing up and that we were not proper QPR. It really did make me laugh. Maybe back then i was like them but now i am quite happy sitting in my seat watching the game.
I know mate. A couple of years ago I sat in the Loft for the season with my then 17 year old. He never stopped singing, had to tell him to shut up and be miserable with the rest of us.
ellers as long as i live ill always try to get you guys to sing more its just unlike you prawn saandwich brigade ive come up the hard way and if only you knew the pain its causes me to sing brentford outsing us and ill never forget that idiot ramsey for creating this boy scout type of managerial rubbish people like me broken nosed and battle scared we never learnt,i have no conetation of defeat,i dont want some new ideard twat telling me that its all ok for poor trev kingham to lose his life from a heart attack,or poor russ moore to die young these rangers legends lifes wont be forgotten not by us origional loft boys we were there in 69 and we will live forever, but at least embers you had the decency to respond to my thread old jeff wiont talk to me because i actually used to post a the WATRBs site and thats is supposedly fantasy island but most of what we post origionates from the newspapers if not we make it up any way,but as a 61 year old ive seen it all down at rangers but embers you come over as a bit of a diamond, you seem a lovely bloke so good to talk to you my old china plate
Ted fair play to you being a true R and likewise i have lost old chums over the years. Mates that never missed a game home/away even when they were dying. Likewise in the 80's i was one of the loft boys that went to all sorts of grounds over the years but sadly a new generation takes over and all we have are memories. Fair play to the fans that sing their hearts out every game but as i have got older i am more inclined to sit and watch. Please do not take any of my posts as personal attacks because they are far from it.
fair play embers you are a true blue qpr fan you are proper qpr i must admit ther singing against oldham in that play off was amazing, the singing in the qpr v palace 6-1 game was terrific without singing we have a world of total boredom, and that could be the death of qpr,my greatest qpr feat i suppose was to help to engineer the incomming of harry redknap 6 months before he came in i got all the commaders to sing his name and we even got a couple of guys to bring banners to the game redknapp did the buiseness he got us up in one season and if chelsea had not bought loic remy on the last day of the transfer window we would have stayed up you imagine loic remy and charlie austin blasting all those goals but now my new quest to bring in warnock may not happen because as our movement has been destroyed we no longer have the 500 tried and tested we are sadly a beaten force in retreat so sdadly i loom to what idiot les ferdinand brings into the club and i expect to do at least ten years in this division being beaten by brentford every season because our fan base is not as it used to be back in 69 we were an unprenatable force our nightmare rerally started when that aston villa steward tragically lost his life to a heart attack, how is it that we got the blame for that how was it how fault if hes cholestral levals were too high, BUT EMBERS THATS ANOTHER STORY,NOW IM A REALLY WORRIED MAN I THOUGHT WE HAD WARNOCK FOR A LOVELY THREE YEAR CONTRACT BUT THAT SEEMS TO BE NOT WHAT FERDINAND WANTS
