Come now Custard - Dier certainly didn't look out of place in that England team ... slow, ponderous and intermittently bemused - could easily pass for Lurch's younger brother .<laugh>

Walker and Townsend <doh> ... Roadrunner and 'Not so Wily' Coyote

Mason - probably only being considered because Woy mistook his christian name for 'Free'

Kane and Alli should make the squad ... the latter if only to ensure the long overdue international retirement of Milner-Skuffit <laugh>

<laugh> you've 'generally' finished fourth once in the last twenty years ... most educated pundits would concede that such over acheivement is most unlikely to be repeated in the next twenty too ..

That's just piss taking for the sake of it. Dier is turning into a very good DM. Walker is far more than a road runner. Both good young players.

I've no idea why he picked Mason, he's only just come back from being out Injured for several weeks

Townsend ill give you. Has talent, but doesn't possess a brain.

Our last six league finishes in reverse chronological order are as follows: 5th, 6th, 5th, 4th, 5th, 4th.
Three fifth place finishes, two fourth place finishes and one sixth.
HIAG's comment is accurate, I'm afraid.

It's nice to see that you can admit that HIAG was right and you were wrong. <ok>
It's also good that you didn't try and move the goalposts...

Some pundits would say that those Spurs players are only getting their chance as Roy's first choice picks are currently injured and once they return to the Arsenal first team then those Spurs players won't get a look in.

Roy's first choice Arsenal players are Wilshere, Welbeck, Walcott, and Oxlaide Chamberlain.

I find words like bollocks springing to mind! They've had their chance and mostly failed.

When they return? Wilshere isn't known as Wheelchair for nothing. Welbeck, meh! Never been a fan. Walcott disappeared up his own arse long ago, but ok when he can be arsed. Ox, blows hot and cold. They're no better and arguably no step up.

  11. Can't see those Arsenal players taking anything other than bit-parts over the next decade, to be honest.

And that's looking at it impartially.

  13. With a very busy work-schedule (in an extremely important job, as head of my department), and with a young family, I don't get time to go to club matches, let alone swan off across Europe on a pointless jolly!

    Nice thought, though.

Glad you enjoy the toys that you get to put in the bags,

Seems that you get to keep some of them too.

  19. She is extremely petite, if that's what you mean, PIXIE.

You'd shoot your bolt instantly if you saw her.
