People who've worked their whole life and are now dying of cancer are even being **** on, stripped of benefits and told they have to work. Anybody who doesn't think that's evil and bang out of order are ****ing evil and bang out of order. In the Tories mind they're the same as the lad who's never worked and puts his Jobseekers into the bandit.

I'd like to see a few more Tory voters give their honest opinion on what their votes have achieved.

I can't answer that question specifically mate, but I can tell you that no other party would get this right so blaming the Tories is a fruitless exercise.

There were many, many benefit cheats 'fiddling the system' under Labour's ruling, in fact, through the 2000's saw the emergence of the foreign solicitors coming from the middle east specifically to advise other immigrants on 'how to fiddle the system'.

There will always be people who struggle, the fact is the economy is improving and that means that more people will be in work and more people can afford their own food.

Bollocks mate. You're missing my point. Doesn't matter how good the economy is, there's people who are not fit for work. Whether the minimum wage is 8 pound or 15 pound an hour, it doesn't matter to the genuinely incapacitated because they still can't work. You're merely doing what the Tory's have done. Put the jobseekers and the incapacitated in the same boat. They're in very different boats. While the Job Seekers manage to get out of getting a job easily, the person with MS, who's only affordable career is a family member who's old and riddled with arthritis are both thrown to the dogs, while the Jobseeker continues to not work and rake in their benefits, all because 'they're better off on the dole'. If you can't separate the difference mate It's a crying shame. If find your thinking as one dimensional as Cameron's. But this example alone shows how ignorant and flawed the Tory system is.

Come on Bri, you know I don't respond well to down right ridiculing of my posts, try and be a bit more tactful with your replies pal.

You're completely missing MY point, you can't single handedly blame one party for a mess that has been caused by mismanaging everything from top to bottom in this country over a prolonged period.

The fact is, if we were under Labour rule, they'd be borrowing more to solve these problems and if we run the risk of our credit score being downgraded by the world bank, it will only result in more people dying unnecessarily, because it'll create mass unemployment and poverty again. To allow this country to stabilise, the economy simply has to thrive, rich people have to be able to make money in order to spend money, borrow money from banks, banks make the money in interest and the economy strengthens and creates employment.

We can't just ****ing borrow, borrow, borrow and hope that the housing market will save us all, that's what Blair done and it collapsed like a house of cards.

I'd love the home office to have additional budget to spend on tackling benefit fraud, but we're committing more money, an additional £1.9Bn to counter terrorism intelligence under Osborne because of what's going on in the world. We have to prioritise and whenever priorities are made there's always going to be people who suffer, not everybody can be pleased at the same time.

Corbyn's answer is to **** off the entire defence program and start writing letters to people like Assad, put flowers in each others hair and all live in harmony, he's a ****ing complete idiot, get used to the Tories mate because that ****ing ****er isn't getting in power, ever.

No mate, you're missing my point, you responded to my statement.

I can blame this party for their policies. I'll blame other parties for theirs.

BTW The Tories have borrowed Billions despite pledging not to. They've borrowed their arse off. £430.072 billion in the first three years of the coalition alone. More than the entire previous Labour Governement £429.975 billion. Taken from the national statistics. Nowt to do with this though

Corbyn is a dickhead. Labour has lost my vote. But the defence system is nowt to do with this either.

I raised a point that you made in your statement, therefore it was my point I was discussing, I wasn't interested in the rest of what you wrote.

This could go on forever, **** it.

    Fair dos.

In any case, I hope your mental health doesn't incapacitate you. You're good man who's paid into the system. They'll throw you to the ****ing dogs while the jobless disinterested wasters will continue do thrive, claiming their benefits, working cash in hand on the side and continue to cruise through this government with ease. You wouldn't deserve that fella. Just like the people it's happening to now don't deserve it.

I know what you're saying mate, there's always going to be people shafted in any country, my sympathy is with them and the kids dying of aids in African countries, that nobody gives a **** about. You identify wasted money on benefit fraud and I identify wasted money on religion, trillions of pounds that could solve poverty throughout the entire world, but we're that obsessed as a human race with 'the afterlife' that we're ruining the only life we get to entertain a ****ing fairytale.

What a shame that I can't run this world.

What money are you referring to specifically that is wasted on religion?

(by the way, agree with most of your point in this thread and I consider myself as leaning more to the left than the right)

All money that is, has or will ever be spent on religion by any person in the history of the universe... specifically.

My dad used to work in the job centre and then in an advisory role to people claiming various benefits and allowances.

It is his experience and belief that 90% of people taking money from the government do not need it and should be working.

He says the particularly abused payment is disability allowance. Thousands of people claiming they can't work because of a variety of conditions. People coming in with a really bad leg and claiming £500 a week because it leaves them unable to work. Completely disregarding that there are tonnes of people who don't have legs but it doesn't stop them from being able to earn their living rather than scrounging it.

He also says there are enough jobs for unemployment in this country to be well under 1%, but those on benefits won't take a job cleaning a toilet, or wiping an old lady's fanny, for an extra £10 a week on what they get now.

Also, carers allowance. Apparently there are thousands of people listed as "carers" for people with minor disabilities, who need minimal care if any, and yet are claiming enough to support a family. (Bri, I know you fall under the disability allowance bracket and that isn't aimed at you in any way as I know nothing about your personal situation).

I agree with the Tory idea of doing away with the vast, vast majority of benefits. Think they are abused far more than they are used for good.

Can't agree as I think you'd find a lot of that is recycled into community and charity but thanks for the clarification <laugh>

I don't know what you're getting at mate sorry, it's gone over my head. I'm not referring to gov't spending, just any spending on religion, ever.

Relevance (or humour (other peoples' versions), sometimes) just doesn't matter to you, does it, Terry :emoticon-0145-shake

If somebody doesn't agree with exactly what you say, you abuse them (unless it's just me that you don't like) :emoticon-0101-sadsm

I'll not respond to any more of your posts . . . . 'cos, believe it or not, some people (including me) who think that they have a right to speak openly/contribute to this forum, don't like the abuse that you seem to thrive on :emoticon-0145-shake

p.s. I don't dislike you, and I often agree with you, but there are times when I don't like what you write. Unfortunately, that doesn't seem to be allowed, as far as you're concerned, but that's the way that it is, sometimes :emoticon-0114-dull:

    p.p.s. I'm not expecting a nice reply to this . . . . I'm expecting some form of sarcasm/abuse, and I won't respond.

    Best wishes

I know mate. I can't entirely figure out what you mean specifically so I'm assuming you are talking about the building of churches, people paying their tithes to the church and all that etc. I'm just saying a lot of that money is reinvested into community and charity, so I wouldn't personally think of it as entirely "wasted" even if I was the strongest atheist on the planet.

See, you've proved a point I wanted to make by loading my reply to you...

I don't actually want you to **** off, nor do I think you're a ****er, I like a lot of what you write on here... maybe not so much the pedantic stuff about spelling and so on, but the other stuff, I find entertaining.

You called me a dick, and you excuse yourself of the insult by putting a stupid little smiley wink afterwards... well those winks don't make your insult nice GA, you've still called me a dick, despite the fact that all I've done on here, is respond to Bri's request for an honest Tory voter's opinion.

Ironically, you seem to not agree with it so you call me a dick.

If you'd like to present me a dossier of the rest of your opinions on me, I'll be sure to work on my behavior ;)
