You better not have pencils up your nose and pants on your head or I'll get darling to shoot you as a filthy deserter! Bah!
Woss orl this then bors? NORWICH AFTER JUVENTUS FORWARD Norwich City are thought to be interested in signing Juventus forward Simone Zaza. http://readnorwich.com/2015/11/18/norwich-juventus-forward/?
I was just about to post that - never heard of him personally. Edit - I like this rumour better - Rumour has it from a Wolves fan colleague that Lewis Grabban will be their player by February. They're assuming that Afobe will be going the other way. If it's true I'm prepared to drive him there for free! INWT
I never believe rumours about Italian players coming here. It rarely happens, and certainly not to clubs newly promoted and in a relegation battle. Juventus paid £12.6m for him last July - why would they want to loan him to us? They rebuffed Arsenal's approach, and would certainly do the same with any approach from us. The Afobe-Grabban swap would make better sense, but even that is a long-shot.
'TuttoSport' reckon we've 'asked' Juve about a loan deal: http://www.tuttosport.com/news/calc...orwich_chiede_zaza/?cookieAccept&cookieAccept
Zaza is decent. I am not sure how much better he is than what we have, but he's about 6'2, got pace, strong. Would much prefer a loan like Mbok. Test him out. Reasonably impressed if that's true. Afobe for Grabban would be excellent. Not sure how likely though. Plus a bit of risk. I think he could turn into the real deal. He is still young and in experienced. Could go either way. Anything to get Grabban out of the club though
Seems like a risk worth taking to me... In fact, as a useless poker player, I'd struggle not to squeal, do a little jig and and bite their arm off if Afobe for Grabban was tabled as an option.
Is Ron Vlaar still without a club?? ......Just thought of a getable class player I want us to go out and get. So hard to think of likely target options.
I think Vlaar is available, but still injured for a while yet. I also suspect he won't be interested in swapping one team battling relegation for another, and I doubt we could match the wages Villa paid him.
