I see that Jimmy is determined to show his true colours about his desire to play for Hull City. Suspended for 2 weeks for breach of discipline. No wonder the management want rid of him. A total waste of time and money
He was given an olive branch by the club and appears not to have taken it. He appears to be trying to make fools of us, thankfully we have a management team who don't suffer them. He might be a good player but this behaviour is unacceptable, just as it would be if any other player had done the same.
I think most city fans were adapting to the fact that we could see him play for us again this season, now that this has happened, he has made us all out to be mugs. Disrespectful to the club, the fans and the management team. Fair play to the City staff though, for sticking to there guns and not backing down on it just because its Jimmy Bullard. This should be a warning to all the players at the club, we have big expectations at this club. Live up to them, or go! UTT
TOTALLY AGREE MATE. WELL SAID. I bet that NP has left everyone under no illusions as to who is the boss. His actions will also not go un-noticed by the likes of SAF - DALGLISH - WENGER to but three. Only desperate fools like Colin @ QPR and maybe Jewell @ Ipswich would have him now. OLM......Can you merge the Bullard threads please. Cheers.
Why would SAF etc care abt Bullard? Ipswich can't afford him & QPR won't be impressed either, Jimmy has done neither himself or the club any favours.. Maybe he's got "issues"..
Not Bullard himself. But the manner if the way Hull City are dealing with him. SAF has the hair dryer and NP ?? lets say he is not a man to cross. For sure SAF wont want any of his kids coming to club thats badly run.
This is being blown out of proportion, which is unsurprising as it's Bullard. If Fryatt or Rosenior had done this, would we want them sacked or to leave? No of course not, because they are our best players and because they aren't as high-profile and infamous as Bullard. Just like those two he is absolutely integral to our team's fortunes this year. Harper, Evans and Olofinjana are not creative players and it might be early to say but I think McKenna is more of a defensive player. Cairney is unlikely to recapture his form of early 2010 so our playmaker is Bullard and that's that. If anyone remembers the end of last season when we were playing with Harper and Evans in midfield and how absolutely gash we were going forward, they'll remember that what we really needed this summer was a really good playmaker Danns or Bullard. We can't have Danns, so it's just Bullard (who is better anyway). Without him we'll be just as **** and frustrating as last year, with him we can make the playoffs. The club has done the right thing in punishing him, as they should for anyone else, but he should still be used in pitch, unless they're going to replace him.
There's about 100 of them now, I'll be merging all day, I'll just merge those discussing exactly the same topics.
not excusing bullards antics, but it can all be traced back to him being forced to train to the juniors last year, it was unnecesary and degrading, and i arent surprised he doesnt give a **** about us..
**** is harsh, but the away form will level out, that is almost a certainty, we need the home form to drastically improve, which it didnt at all, for that to happen we need somebody to control the game, he seems to refuse to play koren there, so i cnt see the home form improving that dramatically, unless bullard is used or replaced....replaced looking most likely
Not sure on that one, there must have been a good reason why they did this. At the end of the day the club don't have to let him do whatever he wants, if we did that at our work then we'd be in trouble, why should he be any different?
i just feel from the start, the whole situation could have been dealt with better by pearson, ...training with the kids was not the way, might as well have made him train in his underpants......jimmy is a pratt for not taking this latest olive branch, but on the whole i dont its been handled well by anybody, with the exception of the allams, who spoke sense saying they wouldnt pay him to play elsewhere, if only they had been here last august, .
I think the people who created the problem by signing him are as much to blame as anybody, Brown and Duffen, they couldn't get any decent players to play for us so offered him this huge contract as a gamble with our club which we are still paying for now.
The thing is though Fryatt or Rosenior wouldn't turn up pissed. If on Monday every City fan was asked who they thought would be in hot water by the end of the week for something booze related I bet 99.9 % would say Bullard. It's always Bullard.
This is what I meant. It's all well quoting stats and stuff but the way we played last season put us in a false position. The away form was all well and good but we cannot continue to play like we have done in home games, this is where we were **** and frustrating. We were **** in the first home game, the last one and everywhere in between. We needed a new midfielder to sort this out and if Bullard is that player, along with the other signings we've made, I'm confident we'll make the play-offs, but if wer don't I can't see us being much better than last season.
Why is that relevant? So he should be punished more than anyone else due to his reputation? Yeah that's fair.
Not sure it's his reputation more than what he actually gets up to, then again we don't know all the ins and outs
Do that again Jimmy and you'll be in bother. You've done it again Jimmy, this really is the last time, once more and you're out. **** me Jimmy, I can't believe you've done it again, you're history. I'd say that's fair enough, it's not his reputation, it's the multiple events that created his reputation that's the issue.
