Last episode of TWD got slated by a lot of reviewers but I liked it. The one before was pretty bad though, and was the first and so far only bad ep of season 6. The first 4 were very good and this one was good too.
Some just want constant gore and action, it'll get dull quickly if that was the case, Morgan the Movie was a bit OTT but still good and Mondays was very good.
I liked the Morgan one tbh. It was the one after that that I didn't like. Whole episode just seemed like a waste of time. With Carl and Ron's bitch slap fight, and Deana and her son arguing.....just seemed like filler. And Maggie and Aaron in the sewer, "lets go get Glenn" "No actually I changed my mind" This one was better. It had been a while since we had had a good Daryl-Centric Episode.
Watched the final episode of series 4 of Breaking Bad last night. ****ing hell!!! That was absolutely unbelievable........"I won". First episode of series 5 was good as well. What are Better Call Saul and Sons of Anarchy like?
Didnt watch Better Call Saul because I was less than impressed with the Last season of Breaking Bad, but apparently its very good, so its on my list. Never watched Sons of Anarchy, though again I am told that it is pretty good. Breaking Bad should have ended with season 4.
Has 94% approval rating on some sites, not sure it's that great and I nodded off about halfway through let me watch the rest and the other episode and I'll do a review
What shows are y'all watching right now? Current ones I mean..... For me it's: Game of Thrones The Walking Dead Shameless (US) Arrow The Flash Vikings Oh and Fear the Walking Dead
I only watch one TV show a night usually. After kids go to bed... Mrs and I go to bed and watch a show. 1 show a night means it takes us forever to finish a series. We're alternating between GOT, Casual, The Goldbergs, Inspector Lewis, and just started Gavin and Stacey... Waiting for an episode where Stacey falls into a pit of zombies. Can't wait for Last Kingdom to be available in the US. Plan on watching Breaking Bad but Mrs already seen it and I don't watch tv much when not with her.
Other way around for me. The missus can't stand anything American, she watches Eastenders, Corrie, X Factor, I'm a Celebrity etc. There's a couple of shows we would watch together if on, Gavin and Stacey and the Inbetweeners we both like. You don't like Stacey? I thought she was hot in that show. She has put on a ton of weight now, but in G&S she was smoking hot I think, if a little ditzy. Funny that the show is called Gavin and Stacey but they are probably the least two interesting characters in it now that I think about it. Smithy, Nessa, Brynn, Pam, Pete and Dawn were far more entertaining. That was probably the point of the show maybe, how Gavin and Stacey, despite being the main reason these people all got together, were kind of marginal to me in terms of the entertainment aspect of the show. Spoiler Even when their marriage was on the rocks, I was still more interested in what Nessa, Smithy and Brynn were up to
I don't mind Stacey. (although I don't like her voice) Many Welsh girls have sexy voices... Stacey's is irritating. I really don't mind her though... I was just being silly. Inbetweeners was an excellent show.
Seriously though, in terms of British Comedy, the best show on right now is "People Just Do Nothing". A BBC Three show, very much in the vein of the Office, so if you like that, give it a look. It is ****ing hilarious!!
Probably not on Netflix or Hulu in the US yet if it is new. Most British comedies end up on Hulu eventually though. I'll keep an eye out. I keep meaning to rig up a VPN faking being in the UK so I can access iPlayer though. My fave sitcoms have probably been: Scrubs, Better Off Ted, Worst Week of My Life, Wilfred, Frasier, and Coupling.
