Saw them a few years ago at a festival - can't really remember much about it, was pretty mashed, but seem to recall they were quite good !!!! I have an album of theirs somewhere amongst all the music I've got stashed!!!!!

Apart from UTR's and Steelmonkey, that's pretty much spot on! <laugh>

I'm kidding guys (obviously) - love coming here especially this time of night to see what great stuff has been up for show.

Who needs Spotify when you can just scroll through here? <ok>

It just kind of works and I keep discovering!

Music is my drug, I have always made time everyday to get at least 30min with the headphones on. The only way to unwind for me.

Also this thread is popular on this forum as us QPR fans don't often have much to be joyful about...<laugh>

Most of all for me, in 8K+ posts no one has criticized any of the music. I'm no music expert or critic, like most the others who post here just an enthusiast.

Many different grooves to suit different moods!

Hi UTR's hope you're doing ok mate.

Yeah, it's a panacea for the ills we (usually) suffer with our clubs. A time to forget all that and relax.

I've listened to music for what seems like centuries, but still find new stuff around, often on here for which I thank all contributors. Yes, a few things can still manage to cheer me up, but music is right up there. <ok>

Absolutely. I guess the ills of our clubs are a minor issue right now. Music, and to a lesser extent, books, are all that take my mind off the **** we have to endure.

Keep 'em coming guys, let's get lost in the music.

One for fun, Pearl jam reminds me of this clip on youtube. I love Peal Jam but this is funny and sounds similar...

    Going back a bit:

Love this. Got embroiled on youtube once with a yank who said it came out around the start of the Vietnam war. I said, you do know that started in 1955 and this was out in 1969, right? He didn't.

Regardless of that, it works well as a song about change.

I had tickets to see Barry White at the Wembley Arena a few years ago. He sadly got taken ill and we didn't get to see him. So in his place they got in Alexander O'Neal and Earth Wind and Fire. They were both brilliant. Criticize was a great song in my late teens and early 20's and was part of the soundtrack to my life. To see and hear it performed live was a bonus that I didn't ever expect. It was superb and I still remember it sending shivers up my spine even now and even more-so after listening to your post.

It's bizarre this music lark, because in truth it's quite a naff record. But that's the beauty of music, hearing something regardless of it's musical content and sophistication has a rare ability to transcend rational and analytical thought and take you back to a time and place that resonates with you.

I still wished I had seen the 'Walrus of Love' perform though. Now sadly taken from us.

I saw this track on 'Later with Jools' the other night. What a fantastic groove, arrangement and vocals. A rare song that is instantly likeable...
