That's the anthems out of the way, let's hope the match is worthy of the occasion...

Is it me or was the rendition of La Marseillaise completely ruined by the choir drowning everyone else out

I thought that too. It was the same in the rugby world cup.

It probably spared us hearing the England fans mumbling it in their schoolboy French...

Decent game so far, thought it would be a shade lacklustre

Why show a picture of the idiot with the "RIP France" sign though?

I think it probably meant RIP for those that died on Friday

That's probably what it meant, it isn't what it said though.

I've been saying for a while that, although we shouldn't get carried away at all, this England era has a lot of promising young players. I wasn't convinced with the formation, but it's been incredibly fluid, something that England haven't been for a long time. Apart from Dier holding and the back four, all the other players are interchanging positions and the fullbacks are getting forward into the spaces created.

    Promising stuff.

Two great goals, but not sure why Lallana has replaced Sterling. Thought Raheem was our best attacking threat...

Dier looks good in that position.

That was a very assured display from England against an understandably subdued France. Pogba is a hell of a player and they looked a different side with him on the pitch.

England looked so good with and without the ball. Very encouraging.

The England fans get a lot of criticism, but I thought they were superb tonight!

I know that it may sound biased and irrational ( Which means it is. ) But I can't stand Dier. In our game at home against us he dived and cheated to ensure Spurs 1-0 victory against us at Loftus Road. He went down as soon as any of our players went near him.

I think Stones is our player of the future. That lad has some talent. As does Kane and Dele Ali ... the future's bright.

( I wished Pogba was English though. What a player!! )

Delighted the minutes silence was observed by all.

Unfortunately some of the Bosnians in the Aviva last night didn't show the same respect.
