cheers lads-just got in from work so havent seen any of todays 'action'--but Pauling had a double--his horses can do no wrong at the moment -ride it while it lasts......stick-lucy wadham has had a few go 'astray' recently--i'm sure they'll get it back , but running that one over inadequate trip seems to have backfired --i suppose they were hoping to get away with it, win at shorter , and the longer trip negating the rising 'mark'--but that horse has run in some good races,yet when facing easier tasks hasn't yet delivered --a conundrum...

Just heard friendly between Germany and Holland has just been cancelled. Hannover stadium has been evacuated. That's all I know at the moment.

Yep, afraid so, very dodgy now especially in the big cities of Europe. We must not be cowed though, and carry on as though the bastards are not there, but be vigilant at the same time. Kind of ironic that Belfast, with its history of troubles, now seems as safe a place as anywhere on this continent. The people of that city certainly deserve a break.

"Concrete evidence from intelligence circles" led to the cancellation of the Germany - Holland match. Belgium v Spain also cancelled (yesterday already)

Agreed mate. He is going chasing this season and his a lovely jumper so I do hope he isn't going the wrong way!
