Interesting poser you have set me there as I know little or nothing about either of them so I am relying on Evans
It would appear that Bridcutt is a destroyer and Lafferty is on a rich vein of scoring form so another goal scorer is always useful what is very important is can he head a ball
We still are woeful at set pieces maybe he at 6 foot 5 is the answer.I think that's why we are after him
Hope this answers your question .Its what I think no one else has helped me is that clear

who has Lafferty been scoring for? I know he scored against Hungary and Faroe Islands in September, but thats all to my knowledge.

If Bridcutt is the same player as he was when at Brighton i'd want him in tomorrow. Although I thought Evans played box to box midfielders rather than the DM or anchor position that Bridcutt is suited for.

For the umpteenth time, if loanees were any good, we wouldnt be getting them, theyd be playing for their parent clubs. How many more hundred useless ****es do we have to get before this nonsense stops. You want a chance of signing a good player, you take out your chequebook and pay for them. Its the way of the modern game

1, thats a brilliant return. For every good one, there was dozens of hopeless ones. It doesnt work and it wont ever work. How much money was wasted on all the others to find Gradel. Millions in wages and other stuff thrown away. Theres a reason the likes of Lafferty is available. Hes not good enough to get into his own side but desperately wants a ticket to the Euro finals. Nothing to do with wanting to play for Leeds. Buckleys been the usual waste of time. Were loaning Norwich and Sunderland rejects for gods sake, two teams that spend every season either in deep relegation trouble or actually relegated. Maybe it might help if we tried seeing what some of the top PL teams might give us a loan of. If you dont believe me, have a look at the stats over the past decade and count the success stories versus abject failures

Must admit Eire, even the big names didn't do it on loan for us

Ross Barkley could not get a game

    Andros Townsend did a runner

Jack Butland let in more than Ruchubka

Connor Wickham was played out of position

Exactly Matt <ok> Theres the same chances of loanees turning our season around as the introduction of Earwig and Sloth, slim and none

Like you said before Eire, football is all about money(unfortunately) and if we were to offer over the odds in wages a la Ridsdale, everyone would want to join Leeds United. I'm not going to comment on players we might be getting or their motives for joining until we've actually signed them.<ok>
