It's a new kind of politics in a brave new socialist world, give up, give in, lie down and die and everything will be wonderful.

You're taking 1 example from what is the best party to vote for. At the end of the day they care more about you and I than any right wing party ever will

In America where police fire at will, thousands of innocent people die from police shootings each year. A medium must be found.

About 600 people died by police shootings in USA last year, I'm interested to find out what school you go to to get 1000's innocent victims out of 600 total fatality shootings.

I love Corbyn. He is ensuring that the Labour loonies will be un-electable for years to come....

    Well done sir !

Corbyn is the exact opposite of what this country needs this day and age. Given the chance he will rip the UK's defence to shreads by down sizing the army, navy and RAF (the latter of which is barely operational now!). Its unfortunate for the whole world, but we now live in an age where we need as much military might as is possible. I am not saying we are in the grip of a new cold war...far from it.....but we are in the grip of terrorists, suicide bombers, extremist gunmen ect. These will not go away if we stand up and say " Look guys, sorry for being a pain and all that, but lets all pop down the Dog and Duck for a good old chin wag and sort this whole thing out"...........these lot know only one thing and they are more than willing to die for their cause. I actually don't know of any political party leader who is up for the job?

His latest advice to our security forces, when somebody is trying bomb or shoot our fellow citizens ask the individuals first if they would like to give themselves up and consider standing trial for mayhem, hatred and murder, then possibly shoot at them if required..

    Very considerate, the prick..

    That is untrue.

Mr Cameron wants to cut further defence spending.

Mr Corbyn wants to meet the Nato obligation of 2 per cent defence spending and strengthen armed forces as an International force.

Anti-militarism has been part of brand Corbyn since he entered politics. He has been consistently anti-America and for withdrawal from Nato and the abolition of the UK’s ballistic nuclear weapons system, Trident. Only very recently has his line about taking Britain out of Nato moderated. To be fair Clifton, I think ALL the governments see defence spending cuts as a big vote winner.
Anyway, we all have our views on politics and choose to listen to who and what we want, but lets save that for another thread :)

Is anyone here going to the game tonight? All I've heard from family members is to stay home and watch it on the TV in case something happens...

**** that! If you're going to die, no place better than at a football match.... well having Michelle Keegan sit on your face until you suffocate is probably the best way to go.

Given that we have scrapped harriers and tornados with no replacement, have cut thousands of army personel and have an insufficient navy. I find it funny how people are worried that Corbyn may reduce the military because the daily mail has twisted his words.

Scrapping Harriers, and in doing so, effectively scrapping carriers, scrapping Nimrod and not replacing it with any other MRA were two of the most mind boggling decisions the government made regards defence. We now have 2 carriers under construction with no aircraft to fly from them (The F35 is years away from combat readiness for the UK and is grossly over budget and completely un-proven). Tornado is still very much a front line aircraft (currently flying missions from Cyprus) and will be needed for a good few more years yet.

    A couple of things

We should not refer to ISIS or ISAL as Islamic terrorists, they are not representing Islam or Moslims, they are but a death seeking cult, they do not have a state and are never likely to.
Corbyn ... what a joke, he speaks like a pre programmed robot in almost a mono tone .. did you see his interview yesterday,it was if someone had a bayonet up his *** and threatening to disembowel him if he said the wrong thing ... I liken him to a third world call centre operative, he has a script and cannot deviate to far from it.

imagine group of armed police officers watching a gang of murderers picking off innocent victims and one says " if Jeremy doesn't hurry up with the permission to do something there wont be anyone left to save"...

Not as long as he's the head of an un-electable party he's not.

Worldwide he will have as much gravitas as Donald Trump does in the US.
