I agree but there should not be minutes silences at the Football for non football related stuff.

Not taking up your seat for the whole match is a better protest option than disrespecting dead people surely?

Nah, that would just be ****ing stupid. "Oh look, an empty seat. Probably standing outside protesting about something".

That's another argument though Ciaran. When a minute's silence is planned we may not agree with it but surely any decent human should observe it whether he agrees with the principle or not?

I can't stand the ****ing Queen or any of her brood, but I would not start shouting abuse when the National Anthem is played at an event. There's a time and a place.

So you'd prefer they booed/jeered during a minute's silence than stay the **** away from normal people?

    Fair enough.

The people who booed are not normal in my opinion. No normal, rational, sane or intelligent person would boo during a memorial to dead people.

No, that's not what I said. I'm merely making the point that in order to protest you need to be seen and/or heard.

I know it's not what you said but I said it because you are it it. You are not so stupid that you believe there is no way to protest about something without acting like a ****. You know fine well there are numerous ways to protest about something, many of them don't require the person protesting to look like a loudmouth twat with no brain.
