When the oil runs out the landscape will change once again.

Jeremy Corbyn is apparently not happy with the 'shoot to kill' policy our security services will now adopt. I guess he'd prefer us to send ISIS a letter asking them not to kill innocents. That's bound to work of course.
What an utter disgrace he is.
for me, the bloke is completely unelectable on every level.
The sad thing is... lots of labour party member DID vote for him.

If Corbyn was in charge he would have us all sitting in a sunny field making daisy chains together. Or alternatively enter negotiations to take 500,000.00 middle eastern refugees if Syria promise to stop hurting people, then act shocked when events like paris happen on a daily basis. A vote for Corbyn is litterally a vote to implement shahira law in the uk.

It aint gonna happen in your lifetime. We are sitting on a 3billion barrel stock at the moment and there's plenty more in the ground waiting. Theres has been a significant geopolitical shift in supply sources though which is annoying the Saudis and pushing them to produce like crazy in order to try and lower prices and put high cost producers in States out of business. A large part of IS revenue comes from oil production so it must have hurt them as well. I dont understand why more isnt done to find out who is buying the oil from them and stop them. Similarly very little seems to be done to actually target their production with bombing raids and cut off that source of income. It shouldnt be too difficult - everyone knows where the fields and refineries are. I can only think that the Iraqis have asked them not to.

Labour MP's thought it would be fun to stir up the leadership election by putting Corbyn into the mix, I wonder how they all feel now, his views were always going to be an issue as he has always aligned himself with the far left who in some ways seem to dislike England and its history good and to be fair bad, ironic as well that he demands MP's follow the party lines being laid down by his team when he often went against the party line himself. As someone who has contacts with Hamas and Hezbollah it is very difficult to see him as someone who would have condoned any action against Islamic groups in any case, his views on the British Army and their role as purely a home defence force, would had he won an election remove the capability to strike at any foreign based terrorist as well.

To me, he's set the Labour party back decades.
He's just an English version of Galloway.

The USA accepting the benefits of Fracking to produce oil has screwed the Saudis, problem for all political leaders is the handcuffs put on them by international law and the recognition of sovereign states, our own judiciary has put the breaks on the government over a number of policies and as they have become more liberal, they have taken a more political stance in their actions, the political leaders in the west are hamstrung to an extent by having to consider legalities that Putin ignores.

I see that Putin has come out and said that the Russians will inflict 'vengeance' on ISIS. This isn't going to end well.

Very good article on BBC website
    http://www.bbc.com/news/world-middle-east-34830626
Suggests UK is failing in its approach to Muslims. Be more inclusive with them and you reduce the chance of them becoming indoctrinated by fundamentalists. The far right approach is playing into the Jihadists hands.

In terms of numbers it could be a good thing, Genghis Khan litterally gave this planet so many extra years by culling such a huge number of people. Its not nice and in no way is it right, but I tend to agree with Captain Chaos's earlier posts, Humans are a digusting race, all we do is consume and destroy. The less of us there are, the less damage we can do. Having said that, I dont wish to live by my words, otherwise everyone who had the same opinion should just commit suicide in order to preserve the planet

    I use decimal places okay.

I suspect that David Cameron will as well when he is finalising our refugee resettlement numbers.

I get the sentiment mate but being inclusive is a two way street.

When you hear of whole immigrant families in some areas who refuse to learn and therein speak or write English it disheartens me.

I also have a friend who's daughter in Bradford was not allowed, in the 90's to attend the local school as it was predominantly Pakistani and they didn't 'speak English often'. Instead of the school 400m away she had to travel nearly two miles. Not a short walk home in the Winter.

I believe the government have made it some kind of pre-requisite that an immigrant has to grasp at least the basics of English before being granted citizenship and I actually agree with that sentiment.

From what I see and hear it seems we are more inclusive than most countries and yet it doesn't seem to have helped (granted I only see certain parts of the UK).

One day, when I retire I will hopefully live in Turkey for most of the year (Mar-Nov) and I'm fully willing to embrace the Turkish way of life, including their holidays, customs and religious observances. I already speak basic Turkish but will take an expedited leaning course nearer the time to ensure I'm fluent.

I also intend to read the Koran at some point to better enable me to understand my then neighbours views on life (I am and always will be an athiest by the way).

The way I see it it's my responsibility to fit in and not their's to accommodate.

    That's only my view though.

He surely can't have actually thought this out. You have a jihadi terrorist with explosives strapped to his chest shooting up innocent civilians in the street and you want armed police to just wound him? You want to give him the opportunity to blow himself up and many more innocent civilians with him? There is no option on this one I'm afraid; kill the bastards.

Corbyn won't even contest an election IMHO. His stance on so many things is untenable and I think he'll be gone within a couple of years max.

Completely agree with this. Some of the things I've heard from middle eastern people living in this country really angers me. Some of the protest's where Muslim followers tell anoyone who will listen that britain will become an islamic state, we will take your daughters, we will turn your country. Its scary. A high proportion really do hate us, they hate our customs, but the majority "keep the peace" in order to reap the benefits of living in our country.

to go as far as you have/will be in order to live in Turkey is commendable and I hope when it comes round, its all you expect it to be.
