Let's not go down the religion route Dutch, religion's simply a convenient excuse that these murderous bastards are using. Personally I won't condemn all Muslims due to a lunatic fringe.

Vardy's injured and Drinkwater and Albrighton have been snubbed so i'll probably watch the pre-match stuff then switch over to something less dull.

If I was there I'd be singing it.

It should be observed with absolute silence while the French belt it out followed by a raucous applause.

There will be people there who have trouble with the English National Anthem. I think it'll sound crude listening to thousands of people trying to read French.

    Just my take on it.

French fans at Wembley: to hear whole stadium sing national anthem tonight will be "exceptional" and an "honour".

Wearing a France top? Cheering France on? Celebrating their goals?

The England fans will sing both national anthems before the match. During the match the England fans will support England. It's pretty straight forward.

Nope, simply united in their loss. We're all from planet Earth, even if some don't act like they are.

^^This - singing another countries national anthem, no matter the circumstances, is happy-clappy, touchy-feely, new age garbage.

I perfectly understand why they want the English to sing it and all that, but we shouldn't. We should pay our respects by remaining silent and remembering those who passed.

That's fine. You can refrain from singing if you want. I would think that the English at the match will want to sing both national anthems and show solidarity with the French at this time.

So not singing it means you aren't showing solidarity now?
