Just received an email from Wembley re tonight's game, it warns of significant delays due to extensive searches and requests that people don't bring bags and arrive early, along with the following:

England fans are asked to respect the French national anthem, La Marseillaise, the words of which will be displayed on screens inside the arena.

La Marseillaise will be sung after God Save the Queen, in a change of protocols.

Materials will be on seats in the east side (England Home End) of the stadium, which will form the French Tricolore when fans hold them aloft during the anthem.

A minute's silence will be observed prior to kick-off (please ensure that you take your seats no later than 19.55 to observe the minute’s silence and national anthems).

Both teams will wear black armbands during the game.

The England team will make a gesture of solidarity to the French team prior to kick-off.

The FA will also continue to light the Wembley Arch in the blue, white and red of the Tricolore as well as displaying the national motto of France, Liberté, Égalité, Fraternité, which stands for liberty, equality and fraternity.

Lets try and keep this one about just about tonight's match please ladies and gents. <ok>

I'm in block 124 which is the best seat I've had at New Wembley.

We're basically forced into playing the youth team but they'll still go out there and hammer them.

Can't be losing to the French.

10-0, Kane to get them all.

I looked on the "View from your seat" app. Gates don't open until 18.30.
I went to about 15 matches at Old Wembley. Just about all to see England but I remember going once to see Scarborough.
In New Wembley this is only my 4th visit. The other three times were to see Hull City. At the play off final I was on back row in the corner. At the semi final I was high up on the half way line opposite the Royal Box. At the final I was level with the 18 year line in front of the journalists. I am opposite the Royal Box tonight not far from half way line.

I've not seen much mention of the team but I would have thought Kane wouldn't be playing and they would have Vardy up front.

How about at the Scarborough match I climbed into the Royal Box and I sat next to the wife of the guy who scored one of the goals. She was incredibly happy. The next week he played for Scarborough and was kicked in the head and died.

I thought metaphors were about meaning something else. I don't think they are about not understanding the literal meaning. You keep professing that you're an expert but you don't show much expertise in anything.

Or maybe, just maybe, I'm taking the piss?

Fancy going a thread without having an argument? I know that might seem hard for you, but try. I'm not going to respond and derail the thread more than it already has been on only the ****ing first page. <ok>

Don't expect another response, I'm not derailing the thread.

Bloody hell, 4.5 World Cups have been played in the time that it takes us to put down a white line, no wonder the country's ****ed!
