Well it will be with that attitude. Two ways to deal with the 'enemy' - destroy them or turn them. We need a mixture. This country will be essentially without religion in two or three generations thank God (irony intended).

Highly unlikely. Not gonna get a 7.62 assault rifle in this country. Small calibers maybe but nothing that size. Way to hard to find in this country and way too big to hide on the person. Wouldn't get within a mile of the place. Hysterical and rather funny to be honest.
Interesting quote. I don't see it happening though. It would take such a major shift in the law of this country. Women's rights would clash with it and many other personal freedoms would have to be allowed to be walked all over. Not saying there won't be friction but we have that already anyway. I don't ever recall the IRA bringing that type of weaponry to the mainland and at that point we were using them ourselves. The L1A1 SLR was the last 7.62 assault rifle that the army used and was phased out years ago. Even then they were never used on the mainland. Go check your history.
