    Could be hydra?

Then again, I think anything bad happening is hydra, SPECTRE, cobra command or Cyberdyne. False flag operations to control the globe or to influence international politics.

Hydra makes sense. They like to see the eradication of sub-human species. Hollande as a result has closed all of France's borders, and migrants will not be entering into the EU Zone.

Joking aside, didn't ISIL say that they were going to bring migrants into EU to do this? Then again a seance told me that I'd experience pancakes in the near future.

Isil/Isis say anything to appear more powerful than they actually are. I'd bet they are "homegrown" terrorists, which in a way is worse. Anyone can take up the idea that they are representing Isis, how do you beat that?
Putting boots on the ground makes the west look like the aggressor again. Air strikes inevitably hit the wrong people occasionally and generally cause further upheaval and more extremists. Controlling communications/upping surveillance is a threat to civil liberties.
I have no idea what I'd do.

Civil Liberties be buggered, what would you prefer... the secret service reading your emails regarding your Christmas Day arrangements .... or ..... your Mother/Father/Son/Daughter being killed in a terrorist attack on London which could have been prevented with better information?

Be that as it may, where do you draw the line?

Look at how dictators too power, they done that from abandoning principles of liberty. Hitler famous examples outlawed so many things post Reichstag fire, which evidence shows they done themselves

A democracy becomes a dictatorship when the Judiciary loses its independence and becomes a puppet of the leadership <ok>

I doubt it, this was too well planned, maybe they launched their attack yesterday as it was a convenient pretext but I think it was coming regardless.

Watching the Hartlepool orient match, old Bradley Pritchard popped up with a goal. Although Hartlepool have just made it 2-1, should Pompey win (they won't now) that will net me £800 <cheers>

I don't do cash out after misjudging one which saw me cash out £50 when I would of won 750!!

Also Pompey were battering them and I could see them getting a goal, alas they didn't.

    Who knows or cares??

I'd rather sit on the sofa and watch the soaps with the wife than watch that dross.

Some things you shouldn't admit, Don. Watching soaps with the missus is one of them <laugh>

Just mere curiosity. Know that the international break is on, and not heard of anything of the team playing.

On a side note, I've reserved two tickets for England vs. Ireland at Twickenham, as they went on sale today.

    Only for the absolute corkers!

The other half is always wondering why I have a pillow on my lap.
