    Good Morning Everyone,

man-ure are stepping up their interest in Lewis Cook.

Cook is also being monitered by Citeh, Arsenal and Liverpool.

If we are still in the position we are in a years time, Cook will only have 6 months on his contract.

Is it time to sell our best players, so we can start again, or do we expect things on the pitch to drastically change in the next 12 months?

If we were to sell him, what would be the minimum you would accept?

Leeds are almost evens betting to beat Rotherham this Saturday at Elland Road. Does anyone see any value in that?

Noel Whelan has said there is no need for Moyes when Evans is revitalising Leeds!

Would you agree with his comment?

Morning bud, I think we should be trying to keep Cook. One of our better younger players and we want them to help us get promoted. But will need to show them we are going in the right direction, which we haven't been able to do for many years. We are still battling for mid table so we have no hope of competing with top of the table premier clubs, would understand if he left. But we want more than we got for Ross has to be double figures.

Saturday could be a funny game could see Redfearn getting a point against us even though they are ****e.

Kind of agree with Whelan give Evans a chance while he's here not much you can do with the chap we have on the books

Morning Matt and all. Definitely not the time to sell. New owner in first and at least the money might be reinvested. Sell before Cellino goes and surely the bulk of it will go with him. I see where the players are stuffing Evans exhaust daily with potatoes and hes looking for the culprits. I wonder which exhaust does he mean, it could explain a lot <whistle>
As for the "boys in green". tonights the night. A nerve wrecking night ahead for 90% of our forum members who are Irish, or at least the good ones are

Good morning to Matt and everyone from a dull Bardsey
First of all Whelan is right we have found a winner in Evans why change him for Moyes
I have backed Leeds on Saturday as Redfearn is their manager
Cook should be priced the same as the boy sold to City from Fulham £12m min with add ons as well
How are Bridcut Grabban Lafferty loans going on?

Morning all, yes Evans has managed a back to back win but surely there isn't a supporter on earth who wouldn't agree we were lucky in the last match and not just a bit, a country mile fortunate would be a fairer comment and I repeat once again, Evans is picking a Rosler team, still Wootton at RB still picking Mowatt, still playing players out of position, you wonder if Cellino is actually picking the starting 11

Very similar to last season, Redfearn pulled off a small purple patch thanks mainly to a few wonder strikes from Mowatt and Murphy goals

I don't see that it matters too much in regards the Moyes chatter, take overs at Leeds seem to take between 6 and 12 months to complete, he will be at another club by then. I don't like Moyes, I don't like Evans but if Evans it still in charge at the end of the season it means we probably have Cellino as an owner, if Moyes is in charge it means the take over has been successful <ok>

Hope you're boys do well tonight Eire always good to see you guys in the competition proper. Will be watching later.

Mike got a funny feeling that Cellino will put a hold on any more investment whilst he's selling up. Wouldn't improve his chances of sale and if anything would likely be detrimental to the sale price in the short term.

Let's hope your right for Saturday, give him a good reception and then a hiding on the pitch

Ristac, will take a few lucky wins as sometimes that is enough to get a run going. We haven't got the greatest squad and agree Wooton should be no where near the first team. But if Evans can get em winning I'll take it

Who would you want for the hot seat ?I need cheering up!

I find the Lafferty thing interesting. According to Evans, he made one call to the Norwich manager asking if hed be available and is awaiting a reply. To me, that doesnt sound very advanced or if the player has even been contacted. So contrary to the social media stuff, Id say that moves miles away still. Is there any reason to believe any of the others are any further advanced?

Yes successful at lower league football, I only know what I read on Wiki as to how that all went. I have said before, I am guilty of disliking him for no real reason, I just can't take to him. Moyes is the same, do we judge Moyes on what he achieved at Everton or his failures?

Evans comes over as lazy, he is a coach and hardly a picture of health. He has relaxed training, "players should not have to rise at 6.15am so training now starts at 10:15am".

My dislike of him isn't a call for him to be replaced, with the structure like it is it wouldn't matter who was in charge. I just feel some are building him up too quickly. You said Leeds60 that if Rosler picks Wootton at RB and Mowatt again he should be sacked, why is your opinion of Evans so high when he picks the same two players?

You can't say Wootton is any better, he had a shocking game last time out and was lucky to be on the pitch, could and should have cost us 3 points. Mowatt was poor, just one wonder goal meant his poor performance was overlooked.

Before the Town game I said and I'm sure you will have this bookmarked that Wootton would get skinned by Bunn which is exactly as I forecast and knowing this it would have been logical to at least pick Byram as a sub but I am not the manager and I don't know Byrams mind set as it happened Adeyemi played well in that position
I will stand by what I said about Mowatt as well he still needs to get beefed up and the 2 splendid goals he scored doesn't cover up for is lack of pace and his lack of physical presence
However Evans appears to have galvanised the team doing it his way .There was another famous manager who appeared to do everything wrong no team talk just get on with it his name was Brian Clough I still was pleased when he got the sack so it just shows we can all be wrong including me!
Did we appear to be getting things right with Rosler NO
Does the team appear to be gelling YES

Evans deserves a chance to fail, and so far has a much better win ratio than a few recent managers. He knows what it takes at lower league level and as there are no big name players at Leeds he should gain the respect of the squad. If he fails bin him but ffs give fatty a chance

Cellino would be silly to sell his kids when he's trying to sell, as the players aer the only asetts on the books. bet he even started the stories about Cook cos his price will now be £14m. Think about it Mowatt has his value rocket, everyone supposed to be after Sam B etc, spent £1m on Murphy ...... Book value means more cash to buy.

As others have said, more cash from sold players means more cash disappeared into offshore accounts, never to be seen again.

The only bit with any fortune was with the possible sending off,the rest was a lack of quality in their finishing and quality in ours, that's not luck, that is what all the more succesfull teams have and Boro had against us.quality is not luck.

To true, you will find the harder Evans gets the team to work, and the more they practice set plays the luckier we will get.

Lets not get carried away, we are putting some effort in (something thats was so obviously missing even I commented on it).

We haven't improved yet in terms of quality (we are playing anti football). What I would say is that Evans's passion is obvious and I cant criticise it. Hopefully he can be more than a motivator and can get more quality out of our team of largely interchangeable inexperienced lightweights? Too early to say, but the early signs give reason to be slightly more optimistic.
