Free speech? **** that. Do you really think that if the BBC gives somebody air time they are supporting their views?

The democratic foundation of this country is based on the freedom of speech. We may not agree with what is said but if we go too far to prevent it we won't be living in the country we are trying to protect.

The most disturbing thing about these terrorists is that they are not just restricted to a given area they are spread all round the world.
It's not like fighting a country or given dictator...... That is the hardest part.
They have no care for loss of their life nor others. It is very hard to distinguish good from bad out of a group of people.
As apposed to other wars, other conflicts, these people seem invisible, which just makes the whole circumstances that much harder.

Some of you good folk mentioned about the Muslim communities needing to weed out the bad apples.
That is a must from both being seen to be doing the right thing by the general public and to identify the actual perpetrators before these type of events happen.
We all have a role to play, no more so than the Muslim community. They need to lead from the front.

It's a shame that this debate is beginning to get a bit personal.

I strongly disagree with some of the views on here and some feel the same about my views.
However, I think it's safe to say that we all are disgusted by what happened in Paris and that none of us has the faintest idea how this ****ed up World can heal itself!!

If I spoke French and knew the words, I'd sing the French National Anthem with them at Wembley next week. I hope the players and supporters of France get a tumultuous reception!!

Lads given the severity of the situation in Paris and the horrific reports that have come out of the City in the last day or so lets keep this thread respectful.....people post the most stupid of personal jibes in an attempt to rub other posters up the wrong way just because their view point differs from others.........

Lets just keep to posting opinions because that is after all what this forum is about and cut out the personal jibes.....and most of all lets keep it perspective, what has happened to the victims and their families is far worse than most of us can ever begin to imagine........lets not try to score points off others.

There's time to learn them by rote Col, you don't have to iunderstand them. I remember that you are a proper singer, it would be good to have a real voice alongside the usual drone of Englishmen trying to sing. Here's a singalong version to practice with.

Interesting that it includes 'parental advisory' lyrics. You might be better off with Imagine, which looks like it becoming the unofficial soundtrack of this particular atrocity.

I believe the crowd on Tuesday will be assisted to sing the French anthem.... I will be there and will certainly do my best despite very poor French and without a note in my head. Should be a respectful tribute.

Who knows what goes on in the warped minds of Katz and some of the other editors of the BBC current affairs programs, but to have a spokesman on justifying suicide bombings and beheadings of innocent people by knife is wrong in my view. I differentiate the IRA because vile and in my view unnecessary though these killings were of both British and Irish people, Sinn Fein were attempting to get into a political dialogue

One of the commentators on Andrew Marr this morning suggested it would be nice to see a Muslim "not in my name" march. I agree. Apart from anything else, it might help deflect crticism that, at best, many are remaining neutral.

What's to discuss ? if you can't beat them , join em and rot them from the inside out . That's our enemy's point of view now clearly

That's basically what is happening in Europe .
We are sleep walking into surrendering our hard fought way of life . In 10 to 15 years Europe will be unrecognisable I predict , probably a few civil wars in the country's that stand up to this invasion through the back door .

The problem is the ones who attend the march are the normal law abiding citizens and the murderous lot have nothing to do with them or their beliefs.
Only thing we can do is keep doing what we are doing. You cannot sit around a table with this scum and the only thing to do is wipe it out. You can never kill off an ideology as it keeps manifesting and changing with time.
Al queda were the terror name a few years back and now its ISIS and when that is gone another will take its place.
I know it sounds barbaric but you have got to kill these freaks as soon as you can. All those who have left England to fight for these groups should be wiped out as well, or at least never enter our country again.
Remember the Americans have killed thousands of these IS fighters and we just got to hope that we kill a lot more.
Another point is that the muslim council of Britain need to start keeping some of its followers in line. Make it illegal to have those vile marches and grass up members that are talking about terror.
As for the England game i would ask all the fans to mingle or sit next to each other in blue tops.

Whose benefit is that really for? I think the people who want to criticise UK Muslims will just find another reason to do so (not enough marched, it's not enough to just march etc).

I think there should be another march by everyone else to show that they don't sympathise. Then another to say that neither of the first two matches was needed.

Oh, and we haven't had a march by the blue eyed, blonde haired group saying that Hitler wasn't acting in their name. They've never explicitly said anything as a group about it and it's 70 years overdue.

KooPeeArr....hit the nail squarely on the head

All this "staged" march is going to do is cause trouble....the last thing that is needed at the current time

If I was part of a 5% Christian community in, say, Pakistan, and militant Christians were targetting Muslim children to murder in large numbers, I'd be out in the street shouting loud and clear that these acts were not done in my name...simple as
