Why on earth do we need a left back? Shaw to come back and Blind and Rojo covering. We have one right back though so that's where the cover is required.
I've said it before and I'll happily be a broken record...not sure how we went into the season with only one specialist right back. Poor planning.
It's astonishing that anyone could consider Valencia to be a suitable back up. His positional play and defensive instincts are shocking.
He offers little to the team as a whole. Also, Mata seems to be doing a decent job on that right wing but I think that whole right side will need addressing next year unless Januzaj develops.
