You go and learn about Islam from orthodox sources and then come and tell me about where it condones the deaths of innocents.

You have given me sources..but all I see is a few surveys. My initial point was about facts and opinions getting mixed up. Nothing has changed here.

As for the abuse..this whole thread is abusive to upright, law abiding Muslims due to its lopsided bigotry.

 

I know plenty of muslims pal i`ve had dealings with enough of them over the years to know i don`t trust them as much as they don`t trust me and my people ! But as long as the radical extremists among your peoples keep attacking my peoples then there will never be any peace or trust between us . Also your religious practices and traditions like mentioned above and more are not compatible with our ways here. so either the years of PC media that the soft touches like the BBC etc have dedicated to promoting muslims have been doing a bad job of it, or there is a lot of truth in the negative side of your ways here that even they cant hide ?
I also have the same distrust of my peoples leaders, and the wars they started in your ancestral homelands over oil and greed etc... is ****ed up too !

If there was an easy answer to unite all peoples in peace then most of the worlds peoples would grab it with both hands ! But that aint going to happen is it ?

So you are a peaceful moderate law abiding muslim man ? that is commendable it really is.
How about you and other like minded muslims sort out the radical hate preachers and their brain washed followers in your mosques and communities so the terrorism is stopped before it begins ? a hard task im sure but doable if you all put your minds to it ? That would be a major step in uniting our peoples in peaceful trusting coexistence.

I'm off to bed now but you asked for a source that states Islam condones the death of innocents. You need to understand Islamic abrogation of the Qur'an first. If this is a concept familiar to you I'll post yet more sources for you on Sunday with direct quotes from the Qur'an so let me know as I'm unsure of your knowledge or lack of knowledge about this topic. A good one to be going on with is this one. It's sura 8:12 (a sura is a chapter so this is Chapter 8, Verse 12) that instructs Muslims on what to do with non-believers:

"I am with you, so strengthen those who have believed. I will cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieved, so strike them upon the necks and strike from them every fingertip."

It's this very sura that the Saudis rely on to execute apostates. There are plenty of other suras in a similar vein, including those that instruct good Muslims on how to beat their wives properly. If you really are a Muslim you know this. All it takes is a bit of reading and some self-education. Much better than name-calling and accusing people of bigotry.

Friday sermons during Friday prayers are always an opportunity for the mosque leaders to bring up recent topics and on many occasions we are encouraged to report anyone who is inciting hatred for the people that live in our country.

Not once have I heard anything but negativity towards ISIS.

I for one would happily dob in anyone who incites racial hatred.....and I don't know any other man who wouldn't.

But it's very very hard..I mean even the family members of the people who have fled to join ISIS have been in tears and in shock that their own children took this path, therefore you can understand how hard it is to spot.

It does not mean we don't try...we are law abiding people and absolutely admire how we can practice our faith in this country and if ISIS ever came to these shores.....I guarantee you apart from the few fanatical idiots...the rest would be protecting this land.

I'm glad we have by hook or crook managed to find some form of dialogue here.

 

No however I don't have to do I? I abide by the laws of my faith...just like Jews do...plus it's a personal preference. I enjoy rolling a joint...you enjoy a pint.

 

That is great to hear, it would be even better if it was shown all over and through the media in a way that could be believed by all that live on this little island.
There are other issues that need to be addressed though such as the mismanagement by our governments of the mass immigration of many nationalities into our country to quickly to cope with. The lack of housing, jobs, school places, jail places, NHS strain and the lack of cohesion in to many towns and cities here because of the lack of slower steady integration of incomers and the ghettos and areas where the natives don`t feel safe in anymore ! Plus the distasteful but yet factual fears that the natives of this little island have that we will get bred out in a short time because of to many incomers ! there is also the rise in many types of crimes etc the list goes on, So its a much bigger problem than just the terrorist side of things which is the main one.

 

If we brexit EU then we can close our borders and filter only those that are wanted and needed here.
If we then make sure we get a good strong loyal government in place we can reduce the numbers that have come in to much more manageable and useful numbers while weeding out the scum.

If you see posts that you dont like then dont be too offended beacause they are aimed at the isis, criminal, undesirable scum not the peace loving, law abiding tidy muslims that you say you are ok.
Hopefully one day soon there will be peace back in the middle east and most will be happy and want to go back there and rebuild a new life there again ? after all theres no place like home even if it`s your ancestral home isnt it.

Why do religious people talk about interpretation? If it is the 'word of God' it should be taken as literally word for word and that is where you will find that Islamic teachings is full of violence and pure evil.
