Greece now confirming that a second suicide bomber came in with immigrants across the Med. How many sleepers are making their way up through Europe right now?
They must be active in their bedrooms, Stainsey. I've seen no reports of their actions. Have I missed something?
They don't have to stand on a street corner in white cloaks or full nazi regalia mate....Trust me, they are out there and they are very active...,,,.
An attack on France is an attack on NATO. All members should put troops on the ground and kill all the m'fers.
Was it? Was our rate of immigration greater then others? Has 5 years of right wing government increased or reduced immigration? Is not straightforward. The vast majority have come to work and many work very hard too. These are complex issues but the temptation to link immigration to all social evils is potentially damaging. Thank goodness football is above all that.....
Our rate of immigration was probably not greater than France, but they're a socialist country. It was great enough for the Labour party to apologise for it. We haven't had 5 years of a right wing government recently. The coalition was all over the place. Most EU immigrants work and work hard
I don't want to say immigration could not have been better handled only that in the wider context I am not sure how much of a difference politics has made in Europe. Thank you for your post.
Blair has a lot to answer for, but no one should describe him as being of the left. All this bollocks about the BBC, Guardian readers, Shami Chakrabarti et al being to blame is just that - bollocks. Religion is to blame, all of it, and that is a preserve of the right.
What I said was the open door immigration policy was to the left. The most left wing position of all, espoused by certain student groups, is no borders at all. Parts of the BBC have in the past espoused the rights of free speech of hate preachers - indeed they've given them air time including the islamic group thst supported Jihadi John. I don't read the Guardian. The constant lectures from Chakrabarti irritate the hell out of me. She takes extreme liberal positions in the firm knowledge that if something goes wrong and someone dies, she's not accountable
