Chaz the flip side to that is don't get your news from what 4 or 5 callers claim.
I don't think that this is a general attack on Islam however when you look at what many of their followers are doing then it's hard not to compare. I read a tweet from some guy talking about the many marches that go on in this country with hate banners from muslims. that is fact. The muslim community need to stop these vile marches and start integrating. This is not the middle east this is a European country. If you want to be here than act like a normal citizen.
This is not a racist comment just a normal bloke who is p'd off with seeing all this tragic stuff.

My heart goes out to your family and all decent Parisians. I can remember the sense of unease back in the late 70's during the IRA bombings when I lived and worked in central London. It's not a pleasant feeling wondering who will be the next innocent victims.

Shocking events in Paris last night. Thoughts with the families of those who perished.

I think Bush and Blair invading Iraq have a lot to answer for. What has happened the Middle East and parts of Europe since then is awful beyond words.

Those muslim leaders are the biggest hypocrites going. Why don't they grass up more of these terrorist? Ever heard the bloke from the muslim council reading the papers on the BBC? Everything always ends up with the west causing trouble.

Many people don't think for a second of the thousands of innocent muslims that have been slaughtered by these terrorists, though. it's clear that this isn't in Col or RTID's thinking. maybe because it's easier to stick a black hat on all muslims than it is to think for a second and realise that the demonisation of all muslims is exactly what IS whants - that's better than any recruitment efforts they could undertake.

Don't assume what I do and don't think Chaz.

I mourn ALL innocent lives that are lost, whatever their creed, colour or religion.
I'm just a bit sick and tired of hearing about what victims Muslims are. What about all the other victims of Islamic extremism?

Have a look at polls asking what Muslims in this country feel about Sharia law etc.

The rise of Islamic extremism is the biggest threat to World stability that we as a human race face.

Or watch the dozens of videos online of these peace loving muslims executing people for no reason.
They choose a soft target in the concert and i imagine that many victims will be young.
disgusting stuff by people that have no place in a modern society.

Just extrapolating from your comments, Col. Apologies if I misinterpreted, but that's the message you were sending out. Maybe you need to be a little more specific in the target for your hatred.

Focus in the words Islamic Extremism, though. The fact that we're talking about the extreme, means by definition that there's a whole load of non-extremists. Are you suggesting that they are also to blame?

Muslim leaders need to take a long hard look at themselves and ask why many seemingly intelligent and well educated young men and women are choosing to go to join ISIS, in full knowledge that they mutilate, behead, stone and throw off buildings their unfortunate victims. They are going with their eyes open.

These 'recruits' are being radicalised via the Muslim religion and many of the leaders will know who are likely to be their 'mentors'. It is the failure of the leaders to pass on this information to the security forces that leaves them, and ultimately, their religion being viewed as sympathetic to the more extreme views we abhor...

Thanks, just popped out to buy some food for dinner. Very strange atmosphere, people seemingly in shock. Quiet out on the streets, particularly for a Saturday afternoon.

The three teenage girls who went last year were all described as top students, it just seems unbelievable anyone with a smidgeon of intelligence would fall for it...

FFS if anyone on here thinks it's as simple as taking ISIS out ... Really take out what? Their top secret base
    Send in James Bond ?
    Or keep dropping bombs

If ISIS could be taken out as I have read it would be done. What has anyone learnt? They don't know who they are even looking for
This thing can happen anytime and as the bar keeps going up will happen again saying ... right this is war is daft ... We are going to do this or that ... When? Who's fault is it?

The way to cope is to have no fear IMO and I mean genuinely have none. Because in a few days it will go back to the norm

So what are you doing about Terror?
    Living in fear?

This is a time of sadness out of respect because we have lost lives from our side. understandable anger at the people that did this but some of the crap on here is nothing but fluff

Of course Dave it's brings everything down to earth. Terrible shock for the world and will be interesting to see how France reacts overseas
I expect them to review their foreign policy because this can't happen again. France may have to take the target off their back
I expect a massive revolt now but too soon to tell

Respect mate and it must of been very nasty for people so close to the events
