That's rich coming from a guy who let that Cazorla comment go straight over his head.

PNP saw that comment for what it was, and I still can't believe someone fell for that. I mean who the **** seriously refers to our current national team as 'mighty'? It can only be done to take the piss out of our **** national team, who put in another hopeless performance tonight.

I wouldn't classify our side as ****! Not as good as the twice running champions of Europe, no. But not **** either.

I think we're a better side now. No more Gerrard & fat Frank, etc. Some decent youngsters.

No, we won't win the Euros, but I think we'll do ok.

England have lost to every good opponent they have faced under Hodgson so far.

Based on what evidence? These piss qualifers? At least those two players had goals in their game and Gerrard was good at set pieces, our current midfield has no goals in them, unless Rooney,or Kane score, I can't see where the goals are coming from for a start.

Losing to Spain on their own turf is no great surprise. I think he has some decent players in there now.

The problem for England is twofold. One the amount of football we play. Two, the premier league and the clubs hold sway over everything. The national team's interests come a long way second.

Plus, of course, there's this buy big and buy foreign mentality in most of the top clubs.

Possibly, Sturridge, Welbeck, Sterling, Walcott, etc? Midfield, creative wise, is a problem, yes.

Sturridge is a crock, and so is Walcott to a lesser extent, also Walcott has on the whole been awful for England, the slow build up play does not help his game. Welbeck is a pretty awful finisher at club level, but weirdly scores a fair amount for Engalnd but big problem is that he has not even played a single second this season, so not sure what his form will be like. Sterling's biggest weakness is his finishing.
