Actually looking forward to this England game tonight. Finally up against some decent oppositon, and although there's a raft of players out through injury, it should still be a great test and a chance for a few players to make their mark.
According to reports that explosion was from a suicide bomber at one of the entrances, three dead in that explosion.
I just heard that too. Those poor people, they have done nothing to deserve that. I hope they don't become victims of this horrible scenario.
Just seen the news about Paris. ****ing hate people man. Its so ****ed up and utterly pointless. Slaughtering your fellow people for what? This is also going to have huge ramifications in the aftermath. RIP to all the victims and condolences to their families.
It's awful isn't it. And the carnage is unbelievable! Over 120 dead in 5 attacks, including an international match where the president was, and a Eagles of death metal and deftones gig! Poor people, and the scum that did it are ****wits! Still the escalating racial tensions in Europe is going to quicken rapidly now and be very scary
Reading some of the comments online today about the Paris attack has been utterly depressing, some truly sad individuals using what happened as a platform to express their ****ed up views to the world. Probably better to just somehow ignore all the ignorant pricks, but it's not easy, sadly with social media these days, they are everywhere.
Not sure in the stadium you'd have realised what it was, often hear fire-crackers etc at European games, the fear would have kicked in when they saw on their phones and devices what was going on - apparently they were leaving in their droves before the end of the game. On a related football issue, I genuinely hope the players in the game are not too traumatised, must be terrible for them to know what was happening at the perifery of their match. I think the Togo shooting had a profound effect on Adebayor (although he was in more immediate danger). Main priority is to catch the scum that helped these cowards and allow the people to mourn their losses in peace.
