Just realised I'm running 3 mins behind. Must have put it on pause when I went to the loo earlier. SV laughing at them. Well done backers.
Cheers boys! Heard about him winning his point, Mulholland also got the second from it too, decent animal. Mulhollands best horse Absolute snaff job there, backing Fergusons at Cheltenham lads, give up betting!
Josies Orders is plenty short now so I've had a go on Rose Of The Moon at 20/1 for the Glenfarclas up next. Has a fair bit to find with UJ but has a huge weight swing from their last meeting and might be able to run a close race from this weight, each way bet due to the nature of the race.
Ran well..The two Irish PTP winners fighting that out. Champers On Ice cost a small fortune indeed. I believe the Prof who co owns him shared a billionaire with another woman after he left his wife. She was handsomely rewarded for her tolerance with a £2m windfall and a Riverside home. Nice work if you can get it.
How was Kansas Oddy? Did ya manage to eat your weight in steak after, 18 stone is a fair eating of steak really!
A little e/w dabble on 100/1 shot Pinerolo for me in the cross country - won off 115 over 25F in May and is effectively off 118 here. Has had a pipe-opener and could outrun those odds.
Won despite that too Dexter, factors that should really have suited Ferguson's! Looks like England have a very decent shout in the Neptune this year.
Cheeky get I'll have you know I'm a svelte 14 stone. Had an excellent burger at Dallas airport on the way out, washed down by a gallon of ale (wel it was a 4 hour layover), a steak Wednesday evening (lovely 12 oz sirloin) and some truly spectacular Buffalo Wings at Wichita airport just prior to departure. I did do 4 miles on the treadmill on Weds and Thurs to counteract the intake - also watched the sunrise from the hotel jacuzzi yesterday - bloody lovely.
Problem with Fergusons horses is they are all cast offs, Penglai Pavilion was beaten 60L in his last 4 runs on the flat. Might eventually get lucky and find a proper one.
Sounds lovely. It's important to indulge yourself in a country's cuisine when visiting, that burger and ale would go down well with me right now!
I love the beef they have in the USA STH - quite possibly genetically modified and certainly not organic but it tastes absolutely fantastic
Really good to see James Davies get amongst the winners again, see he had a 10/1 winner in Keel Haul today in the first at Cheltenham. Remember some years back he was a top conditional and then seemed to fall out of favour. Good that a few trainers recognise that he's a pretty decent jumps jockey. Good pedigree, think he's the son of former NH jockey, Hywel Davies, if I'm not mistaken?
