Startling discovery I have made recently. When you are on strong pain-killers for 6 weeks and consequently can't drink alcohol, all the waist-bands on my jeans seem to have loosened up considerably. I am thinking of writing to the Lancet.
http://www.sundayworld.com/style/showbiz/jeremy-clarkson-sued-after-punching-producer Producer suing Clarkson and the BBC for racial discrimination following the incident that led to Clarkson's sacking. The BBC bit rather depends if he had complained about Clarkson before or if he felt the BBC didn't protect him from racial bullying. Or if he feels it has affected his ability to find work....after all, without Top Gear, his income may have disappeared. Hard to comment without all the facts, but as a general rule I would avoid litigation like the plague....takes over your life unless you can get a settlement.
This is one for the music heads on here, Ever wondered what it was like to hear The Beatles at the Cavern? maybe Dylan in his pre electric days or Led Zep and the Stones in their early 70s prime and The Ramones and Blondie at CBGBs? Here is a link to a site that has that and much, much more, nearly 20,000 concerts in fact, a real treasure trove for the live music afficionado. What's best is that you can stream them or download them absolutely free! http://tela.sugarmegs.org/
What a plonker (imo) - reckon he's just thought this up. If it were a REAL issue it would have been raised at the time of the incident.
I always wanted to be either Kate Bush' or Debbie Harry's groupie ......... Sadly, they never noticed me ..............
One can only hope that 33 years means 33 years and not 8 years and you're out for good behaviour ........... I also hope that someone inside takes it upon themselves to sort the evil bastard out ........... I know if Becky had been my daughter I'd have been after him with a shotgun by now ............
I still remember the feeling of seeing her on TOTP for the first time, singing "Denis". I bought a poster of her the next afternoon. And gazed at it. Vin
