It was either that or Star Trek. Not even the reboot, but the next generation.

I've found someone that thinks TD was a good Bond. I've seen everything now. I can die.

7 of 9 made that show worthwhile.

DS9 is the best incarnation of Star Trek by far. None of the others even come close

That seems to be the most common opinion. I could never get interested in it though.

Original series was terrible acting and terrible plots but nonetheless fun.

Next Generation was fantastic actors with mediocre plots.

Voyagers was absolutely terrible acting with some good plots. And nice borg breasts.

Enterprise didn't exist. That series never happened. <whistle> Actually wasn't THAT bad... I just could never get into it. I think I was Star Treked out by the time it was released.

DS9 seemed too soap operaish to me. Not enough variety. I got tired of the whole cliché Ferengi schtick. Couldn't really get into the series. I think because they couldn't go anywhere they had to focus tooo much on developing characters ... Which ended up making it feel like a soap opera to me.

I know I'm in the minority on that and most people that watched ST liked it best.

He was better than Craig. Craig has 0 personality as Bond. All the other Bonds did though Dalton would be my second worst. Sean Connery and Roger Moore for me followed by George Lazenby. Moore was a typical American Bond <laugh> Had the gadgets too but he didn't look like a killer, Lazenby and Connery looked very mich like killers. Dalton was pretty much the same as Brosnan.

New Bond is an attempt to bridge the gap between the polished bravados and the gritty realistic present, but ****ing meh, the latest is a poor man's mission impossible 1. That's how stale Spectre is.

The one before, was like ****ing home alone at one point. 20 mins of spectre was an insult to my senses.

I'd like to see Cumberbatch or Firth have a go

I think I tend to agree with you somewhat. I liked Pierce Brosnan too though.

    For me in order:
Connery Brosnan Moore Lazenby(why does everyone hate him?) Craig Dalton.

I used to like Moore more when I was younger probably because growing up he was Bond... But adult me relegates him to 3rd.

Craig moved ahead of Dalton for Skyfall. Before that he was last for me. I don't think he's a bad actor or his movies were bad...

... It's just that he's not Bond. Not traditional Bond anyway. He's just a generic super spy... Like one of the many Bond rip-off characters.

Cumberbatch is an interesting choice. Fantastic actor... But could he pull off Bond? He's way too fugly to be Bond surely?

i liked the fight scenes most, thought they was very ... visceral and I enjoyed the whole going back to his projects roots and losing his fortune element, then getting his vengeance in the end

  20. Yep, I'd agree with all that. Thought it was a bit of a rip off of Rocky but with modern technology and ideas applied.
