Meire should have been pulled apart within the first ten mins, when she claimed RD had spent "9 million " on players. The bit that was strangely missing, of course, was how much he has recouped in sales and departures. There has been some criticism of those present for not pressing her a bit more on various half-truths, but when someone is being dishonest to your face, and you both know it, it's quite hard. Being a lawyer, she manages to avoid telling outright lies (almost always) but her presentation just seemed a bit surreal to me.

how much notice do you think roland took of the lot that protested on saturday? plus, any other owner would want to progress the club by spending a bit and moving up the league - something which we would not have problems with
