true that but I think just the fact of trying to work that out at 5 years old is pretty impressive imo. At 5 he had better maths skills than 99% of current daily mail readers or most adults today
I worked for over 15 years in IT and never needed more than basic calculations for all the crap my teachers fed me about it being important. Ah sure spell checker has created a generation of adults who can't spell
All maths is built on basic calculations. The rest is how you apply it. The skills you gained from doing that I dare say helped you apply those basic skills in IT.
Dean's car curseIn September 1955, James Dean was killed in a horrific car accident whilst he was driving his Porsche sports car. After the crash the car was seen as very unlucky. a) When the car was towed away from accident scene and taken to a garage, the engine slipped out and fell onto a mechanic, shattering both of his legs. b) Eventually the engine was bought by a doctor, who put it into his racing car and was killed shortly afterwards, during a race. Another racing driver, in the same race, was killed in his car, which had James Dean's driveshaft fitted to it. c) When James Dean's Porsche was later repaired, the garage it was in was destroyed by fire. d) Later the car was displayed in Sacramento, but it fell off it's mount and broke a teenager's hip. e) In Oregon, the trailer that the car was mounted on slipped from it's towbar and smashed through the front of a shop. f) Finally, in 1959, the car mysteriously broke into 11 pieces while it was sitting on steel supports.

I learn as I need. I taught myself advanced algorithms when I got into programming as a hobby almost 2 years ago. There are classes on youtube of all sorts and free lectures online from MIT and Stanford and others. There is so much stuff out there one hardly needs to go to college to learn it in many subjects including mathematics it depends on your aptitude for said subject, we can educate ourselves. When you get stuck, then ask an expert. If not crack on You learn twice as much just looking for answers compared to a classroom setting wher you are fed specific information. I like study guides which give you subject focus.
a reference to the fact that there are tools out there and you dont really need to know stuff in advance these days for all sorts of things, and it makes people stupid #tangent
What on earth is an ugg? Did a Google. Saw wellies? How are different to other wellies? What's wrong with them. Because they're short? Ugly colours?
£100 for midget wellies? My Wellies cost $10 (£6 something) have steel toe caps and are more practical because they come up the leg further.
They're not even useful as wellies as they're nubuck leather and sheepskin. They were trendy a few years back, but now they're chav uniform
