Washysafc's bacon and cheese bread did sound bloody good! I'll stick that on my to-do list this weekend. There's no footy on!

When you said you should be home next week, I imagined you off somewhere warm and sunny, not babysitting the cat round the corner <laugh>

Never mind Rooch, maybe next time.

Grand father was a baker the smell of 40 loaves coming out of the oven and grabbing a fresh hot crusty roll and covering in butter. Or the fresh doughnuts that would burn your tongue when you got to the jam
Nearly forgot hot Hot Cross Buns

I'm coming to yours for dinner, you da man.

What the **** is Peas and Pudding anyway? Is that what it sounds like... Peas In a cake?

People who make food like that need to be put down.

    Pease pudding ya heathen, lol.
It's made from lentils & yellow split peas & you spread it on ham sandwiches.
    Better than Betty's hotpot. <laugh>

    Oi.

You leave Betty out of this.

So it's sick basically, that you spread on a sandwich.

Where do you lot stand on the pie sandwich? I'm a big fan of beef and onion with brown sauce between 2 slices of buttered white bread.

I like black pudding if it's sort of gourmet.

I do not like the black pudding they put on your plate in Tesco's cafe when you order the big breakfast.

I'd rather have a full log of it pushed up my arse than eat it.

Sally was going mental about that on Capital Radio on the way home yesterday... I think it'd be a bit dry, the bread's just sort of unnecessary.

It's not cake. Basically soaked and overcooked yellow chick peas that's boiled in ham water then processed into a mush. It's basically hummus but with ****er peas and salty water instead of Chick peas, Olive Oil, lemon and all the other yummy ingredients in Hummus

Up in Sunderland and Newcastle they have ham and pease pudding stotties. Doesn't work for me. I'd sooner have my ham sarnies with english mustard and a big handfull of Water Cress.

    Stotties?

That sounds like a word for tits.

That sandwich looks like it's been recovered from some ancient ruins.
