    As this is a footballforum I thought we could dodge the tax debate and concentrate on football. So in ten years the BBC will be hailing Hartlepool Utd as the new European Champions, Carlisle Utd as FA Cup winners and Sunderland avoiding relegation from the Premiership on goal difference. Meanwhile Newcastle again struggled to find a manager capable of getting them out if the Northern Premier League, we all have a dream don't we.

    As long as you know how to reasonably tax the rich fairly on their massive disposable income, that'll be okay.

    Not exactly - it was the reason the deficit increased under labour instead of decreasing - the deficit would have decreased significantly had Northern rock not ****ed things up!!

    My original post was typed quickly but I knew what I meant!
