Got to admit, the only real money we're seeing is all going on Pearson, there's only the odd tenner going on JFH or Sherwood, and nothing for anyone else.If it carries on like this,if he gets the job we could be looking at quite a sizeable payout!
The last time Sir Les found himself up to his neck in water, was just after Dennis Wise and he had bunked over the Blue Peter garden wall!
On a more serious note (accepting that that's probably debatable) perhaps the club are waiting for Garry Monk to become available.
Next you'll be saying that there's no truth in the rumour that the Blue Peter garden was bought by wealthy Malaysians who spent a quarter of a billion doing it up only for it to look slightly more dilapidated, tried unsuccessfully to relocate it and then split the bird bath into several billion parts to issue to themselves as shares?
So how much of this Daily Fail story do we believe http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...tml?ITO=1490&ns_mchannel=rss&ns_campaign=1490 SLF and Colin in a battle to the death Chris' sacking caused by Warnock storming into the dressing room at Derby, over Ramsey's head Lambert approached if he turns down Blackburn Pearson and JFH other contenders Only bit I am happy with is the lack of mention of TimNBD, which knowing the Fail means he is tied on with string Oh the pain
Painful as it is to say with this source that's entirely credible. And farce is the right word to describe it. Fernandes seems to specialise in recruiting big egos with limited or no talent and then exercising zero authority over them as they try to piss everywhere and claim territory.
http://www.sportsmole.co.uk/footbal...57059.html#$$nxp7u5&&Wk K3oksEeWOyBJeOQGl9w$$ WARNOCK RULES HIMSELF OUT However the real reason he is not getting the job is that he persists in calling his boss Lee Hughes....that cannot go down well imho "Tony Fernandes comes over here in December for a month, so if it's not done by then I think they'll decide during that time while he's here. They'll look at all the candidates and I'm sure they'll find someone who will take the club on. They're all gone out to Malaysia this week, Les Ferdinand and chief executive Lee Hughes, and so they're obviously going to be discussing it there". Read more at: https://tr.im/lIaco
"For a manager it's a fantastic place to be - a great club, a lovely club, with good old fashioned fans. It's a great atmosphere for a manager." How dare Colin imply that I'm old fashioned. If anything I'm a post modern fan. So which one is right Beth, the one which has him and Les stabbing each other in the back or what he says on the wireless?
Stan....sorry but you have just confirmed what Colin has said...."wireless"????? I ask you! Full of "old-fashioned fans".. so true ...me myself , I am in the old-hippy part of the fan-base
The Daily Fail story is b@@@@@@@. Just heard NW talking about Benny and how grateful he was of Neil being there. So no Neil and we might not have a new manager until Christmas (Dec)?
So Colin is recruiting staff....strange for a person who doesn't want the job, and could be replaced at any moment...or could he??? http://www.sportsmole.co.uk/footbal...57086.html#$$nxpevb&&k4wn6IlBEeW45xJeOQGl9w$$
Rumour that we are trying to hi-jack the Lambert deal at Blackburn... Also rumour of David Moyes to Leeds...
Yet another unwarranted jibe at TF. I seem to remember that in Briatori era we were begging for the manager to be allowed to get on with his job unhindered by the owners. And how many of us were prescient enough to said that Hughes or Redknapp had no talent in advance of what actually happened?
OK 10 years. And I predicted the Redknapp disaster in tedious and repetitive posts on here from when before he was appointed. Got me on Hughes though.
Sky are reporting that Lambert has held talks with us and Blackburn. Wouldn't be too disappointed if he comes in, did a great job at Colchester and Norwich and Villa are a mess so wouldn't look too much into that, well worth another chance. Something about scottish managers that give the impression they don't take any **** from anyone. Plus he's played abroad and a Champions League winner.
Yes, his record makes impressive reading. Hope the players would understand him, have great difficulty myself. Somehow he seems more a Blackburn Manager than QPR, so I'm not too hopeful.
